Jace:
"Oh, God!" Selene kept on mumbling as she paced the school marble before me. Her book was plastered in her sight and lips mumbled anything that crossed her eyes in the form of jumbled letters.
It was the end of the first semester. Meaning Selene was done with high school in a matter of days.
That bugged me, I was going to miss hearing her laughter echo in the school. I was going to miss her scent next to me.
It had been two months since that accident in school and they gave a two weeks break, excluding the winter break from it.
Selene recovered good and she kept her way with me. We were so good. So perfect. I was in love with her. Even more than I could think about. Two months and still I wanted to have her.
We took it extremely slow. I wasn't going to scare her way. No way. I had to keep and give her, her way. She deserved it. She needed it.
"Selene?" I called as she kept her pace.
She kept on mumbling. I couldn't even hear what she was saying because I was still in front of her, on the floor against the wall, studying out some Chemistry. Diploma course.
It was hard but Selene was crazy about chemistry and she helped me through quite clearly.
"Selene?" I groaned getting up.
No response. Only mumbling in her book.
I walked over to her.
"Selene?" I called standing close to where she was walking.
Still nothing.
Getting agitated, I elongated my arm and before she seemed to have processed it, I gathered her in my arms. She gasped as she collided with me and face came closer to mine.
"Breathe." I whispered while keeping her eyes locked with mine.
"Jace, I need to leave this year. Last year, because of all the bullshit, I got stuck and I'm telling you that I need my out." She stated, looking firmly in my eyes. The fire in them was the one talking to me. Not her.
It was vibrant and real.
"I know." I kissed her forehead and she sighed.
"I'm sorry." She snuggled into me with her arms around my waist, "This semester was great. I mean-" she raised her head from my chest and looked up at me, "-if it weren't for now. We would've never met." My hold tightened around her waist as a painful tightness started rising in my chest. That would've been so strange, not ever having met her.
"Hey, but that didn't happen." She kissed my chin and I sagged.
"Its like cooing a baby to sleep with you, isn't it?" I laughed.
"Yep." She chuckled kissing my chest and moving away.
I looked at her in awe as she walked around, getting back into her book.
"Well, I'm fried with this." I rubbed my eyes after an hour of two of shuffling through chemistry and listening to music. I yawned and found her sitting against the other wall of the hallway, right opposite me. She was still biting her lip and reading the lucky social book.
The way her fingers curled around the book, the way her eyes read it so intently, the way she placed the book in her lap, between her legs...
"Jace, you're staring." She broke my trance, keeping her eyes on the book.
"I know." I licked my lips.
"Stop."
"No."
"Jace." She warned.
"No."
"I will kick your ass to the moon, Jace." She threatened with her eyes, still buried deep in the book in her lap.
"I'm already on the moon with you." I cupped my cheeks with my elbows resting on my knees staring at her like a baby at his new toy.
"Do you have a rocket up your ass?"
"No." I smiled.
"Then stop."
"No."
"Stop staring or I will shove your tiny balls back up yourself, Jace Anderson."
"Why do you have to make it personal?"
"You push me."
"You're mean." I pouted, teasingly.
"Yeah, I know." She gave a mocking smile, but only to her book.
"Margo from Social, asked me out." Our relationship was a little secretive. I wanted to tell the world but Selene intended on hiding it.
I just wanted to make her happy and comfortable. So I did as she told me to.
Just the idea though, didn't settle right with me.
"Mhmm. I encouraged her." She shrugged.
"What?" I frowned.
"Yeah, she asked me if I liked you and I said yes, then she asked me to back off because she wanted to ask you. I said okay."
"You said okay?" I furrowed my brows in anger as my body ticked in rage.
She nodded.
"Why?"
"Because I don't care." Her shoulders bumped and I sagged back in the wall.
"Right."
She looked up at me with a small, pursed smile. Placing her book aside, she swayed her way over to me and straddled my hips when she sat on me.
"I don't care because I know you're mine. Right?" She cupped my face, lighting a bright smile there. I nodded, joyously.
"Good boy." She ruffled my hair and laughed.
"Yeah. You know that, dont you?" I tickled her sides and she threw her head back, giggling.
Her creamy skin exposed itself like a milk stream for me. Dazzling. The v-neckline of her red shirt complimented the brightness of her skin. Her paleness was fading as redness spread all over face when I placed a quick kiss on her neck. We were sitting in the deserted old, corridor of the school, where no one came.
Well, hardly.
She bit her lip and observed my face.
"Selene." I started but she bent down and interupted my words. I didnt mind when her tongue played a tease along the seam on my mouth. I moaned at the grasp of her fingers in my hair and her body gluing itself to mine. As her lips moved back, I pecked kisses down the length of her neck and she released a breathy moan which erupted little fireworks in my chest. Loud and arousing fireworks. She moaned and I kissed all the way to under her earlobe.
Her fingers, moved from my hair, down to the neckline of my shirt, until her fingers were in, laying and caressing my bare skin, between my shoulders. Our foreheads and noses collided gently and our breaths, even thought we weren't kissing, were one. We released a collective chuckle and I kissed her plump lips once more. Moving back, she let stare at her dark eyes. Slowly, she brought her fingers to her mouth and then licked her lips. I bit my lip at the action.
Then, she moved her finger up and tugged at the nasal tube, above her upper lip. Gently, pulling it of her nostrils, she removed it and kept her gaze, dazed with lust, in contact with mine.
I sucked in a long breath and captured her lips once more. I was completely taken in the moment, lost in this fatal attraction that grew around me like an ocean I was ready to drown myself in.
She moaned as her lips perfectly fit. Her lower lip between my teeth and my upper lip between hers, then the same action as we moved down and side ways. It was strange how I wondered what it would look like to someone who would find us like this. Would it be as intoxicating as it felt? Not possible. No one could imagine the amazing kissing skills of the woman in my lap. She tasted the same lemon and sugar. Sweet and tingly. I kissed individual length of her lips, for the pleasure and the taste but all of that was down the drain when she moaned and increased her grip on my collar. That simple movement blinded me.
After a soft peck, she released me and that was sweet and so hot.
"You- you-"
"Just hit the second and a half base with you, in a school hallway?" She finished. I still had my eyes closed and I was still trying to memorize the feel of her body so intimately close to mine.
I whispered an agreement or probably mouthed it, because she had eaten me up. I had no words.
I was utterly speechless and extremely satisfied in that moment.
"Selene, you're crazy." I breathed a laugh.
"S-same as you." She replied and I opened my eyes to find her already open, but lightly. She wasn't looking at me but at my collar, scrunched in her claw. Her lips were dry with the amount of breathing she was doing and her nostrils falred after every second.
My eyes widened and I removed my head from hers, before placing my hand to the side and getting ahold of the nasal tube on my knee.
"Can I?" I asked before I could scare her with it.
She smiled lightly and nodded, keeping her eyes on mine.
I gently placed the opening end of the tiny, vertical tubes on her upper lip, which she pushed up in her nose and then I used my index fingers to stroke her cheeks as I stretched the tube, behind her ears.
"So beautiful." I whispered as I pecked her swollen lips. She blushed lightly and dropped her head on my shoulder. A small laugh escaped her and her shoulder bumped up and down as she laughed in me.
I felt myself laughing, realizing how crazy we were. It was so perfect.
I wanted to ravish her, right there and then but I wasn't going to hold that moment like this. Not in a school hallway.
It had to be perfect, and only the way she wanted it to be.
Abruptly, we heard footsteps coming our way and Selene stopped laughing, she raised her head and looked up at me. Before we could fix our position, we heard a gasp.
We turned our head to my right end of the corridor to find Margo, staring at us through her black rimmed glasses. Her red hair were tied in double French braids and she was wearing the same Hoodie I was. Our school's Jersey.
I looked back at Selene to find her face red and biting her lip.
"Hey Margo." I smiled at her as she eyed Selene.
"W-we are all going to get some food. Come with us." She walked a little closer, completely ignoring Selene. She pushed her hand to me.
"Uh, Margo, I'm going to Selene's for lunch in like about an hour. I'm sorry."
She visibly gritted her teeth and when I looked back at Selene, she was looking at me in disbelief.
"Jace, I know you guys are dating but you should know that a girlfriend who snatches you from friends, isn't worth it. No offense." She snapped and my body stiffened. I swear, if she was a man, I was going to break down his jaw.
Selene placed her palm on my shoulder and that calmed me like ice getting splashed on fire.
"Yeah, I know, William told me to hang out with Selene. And Selene is friends with Will too. So you don't have to worry." I hissed and her mouth fell open. Selene's hold tightened on shoulder and before any more words could be exchanged, Margo stormed away.
"What did you do that for? Jace, you did exactly what she accused me of." She palmed her forehead.
"She was talking about my friends, and as far as I know, she isn't one anymore." I held my gaze firm with hers and tried to make it as clear as a day.
"Jace, you shouldn't have broken her heart. I mean, if I was instead of her-"
"You would accuse my girlfriend of being a person who likes to keep me away from my friends? On her face?" I gritted my teeth and she looked at me with no words.
"I-I-"
"Would you?"
"No." She mumbled and dropped her head in embarrassment.
"I know that." I took her chin in my fingers and gave her face a raise.
"Your heart is so pure that you can't even come back with hurt to those who hurt you. You're a kind human. Listen to me when I say this, no one, who discourages your personality, deserves me. I mean thats where the better half part comes, right? If they can think that of you, then I should be trash on the side of the road." Her lips wobbled as tears gathered in her eyes. I kissed her cheek and she releases a breathy laugh.
"You aren't trash, Jace. Those people who don't know you, they are. They don't know how amazing you are. They just see your looks and the number of your hook ups, they don't see the guy who is taking care of..." she dropped her head and I realized where this was going, "...a sickness like me."
"You know..." I dropped my head back on the wall as her eyes lifted to level with mine, "...I thought I was loving you, and I thought you were doing the same thing. But..."
"No, Jace, I didn't mean that-"
"No, no. Thats okay. I'm just taking care of you." I looked away. Pain was engulfing my heart at her words. I loved her. I loved her so much and she could only think that she was a burden to me.
"Jace-" I heard her voice grow heavy. She wiped a tear and I lost the pout.
"Hey." I laughed as she started crying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I was just teasing." I wiped her tears and kissed her cheeks. She punched my chest. I cupped her face and made her look at me, "I love you, and there is no before or after. I am taking care of you because I that, woman."
A tear spilled from her eye once more and she sniffed.
"He-he." She made the sound while dropping her head and chuckling.
Selene:
The exam took me four hours to finish. I wasn't expecting myself to sit through the entire four hours to finish my exam.
I had extra time to write my diploma because I wasn't originally from North Carolina, I was born in the originality of Canada, but came here at the age of eleven.
My heart was beating fast in my ribcage, as I staggered out of the examination hall. Before, I could even blow out a breath, I found myself engulfed in my favourite strong arms and the most intoxicating scent, created by God.
"How are you?" Jace asked, frantically.
"I'm okay." I laughed, moving away.
He gave me narrow eyes.
"What? Why the poop face?" I chuckled.
"Will told me you were hyper ventilating." He stated and I nodded.
"Just got a little carried away." I tried to reason and he kissed my forehead.
"How was your test?" He sighed as I laid my head on his chest.
"So confusing." I felt my purple butterflies patterned, black pencil case slipping from my fingers, so I jerked when I slapped it against his belly.
"Sorry." I mumbled, grasping it again. He held my fingers and pulled the case bag out of it.
"Thank you." I whispered as he moved a little and hugged me to his side as we started walking.
The walk to my locker was quiet and calm. I felt an overwhelming flow of euphoria engulf me and my tensed mind relaxing to nothing at his feel.
"You okay?" Jace broke my trance, when I laid my head on his shoulder, with shut eyes.
"Yeah, yeah." I blushed, moving away and biting my lip. I realized we were in front of my locker, so I tried to move my body away from his, but gasped as I felt his fingers on my belly.
"What?" I mumbled, raising my head to match his eyes.
"You're killing me, you know that?" He whispered and my heart picked up speed. Before I could respond, he pushed me, against my back, to my locker and caged me in his arms.
"Jace." I gasped as his face came, inches closer to mine.
"Selene."
I felt my back arching up and connecting my stomach, against his tightly built up one. He groaned lightly with shut eyes and when he opened them again, pure desire darkened his orbs.
"I-I-"
"Need to open your locker?" He smirked and I felt my knees going weak.
I nodded.
I felt his fingers near my waist, but I didn't dare move my eyes down, because I knew that if I did, many uncontrollable things were going go happen.
I opened my mouth but nothing came out, except the unheard moan.
Abruptly, my lips were captured in a bruising kiss that made my entire stomach flutter with butterflies, birds, peacocks... basically all animals that I loved.
I ran my hands through his silky golden brown hair and my body pasting up, all the way to my chest, against his.
He ran his tongue on the seam of my lips and I let his tongue enter my mouth, causing me to groan with passion. He played in my mouth as if it was his favourite game and my tongue was his favourite tool. His fingers that held my waist, tightened as he pressed me harder against him and further into the metal behind me.
"Jace." I gasped as he moved away.
"I-I'm sorry, I- lost control." He whispered, dropping his head on top of mine. I nodded gently and hugged his body to mine.
I wrapped my arms around his waist and hummed in his chest.
"Selene?" He called as I cherished the moment.
"Mhmm?" I smiled to myself.
"Today was your last exam right?"
"Yeah." I mumbled.
"Then be ready by seven tomorrow?" He questioned and I raised my head to look at him.
"What?"
"My exam ends at twelve tomorrow and its the last one I have. So..." he dragged the word as he moved away and pulled me with him. He opened my locker and pulled something with his outstretched arm, back to him, and the smell instantly told me what it was.
Before I knew it, a large bouquet of fresh red roses, almost two dozens, was held before me. I bit my lip.
We had had so many dates, so many romantic times but every time he would ask me out to a date, he would blow me away.
He sat on one knee and I placed my palm on my lips.
"One date and one smile?" He questioned and my heart played a back flip.
"Yes." I nodded.
