Jeongguk and Daeun were slowly running out of time before it was time to do their performance. They had most of the scene down, other than the ending. The kiss. For some reason, despite how much they both enjoyed the kiss, neither of them could bring themselves to do it again.
They were both at Jeongguk's house practicing. "Stop lying to me!" Jeongguk snapped at Daeun making her jump softly.
"I'm not lying to you!" Daeun yelled back. Jeongguk stared at her before making his way towards her. Daeun made no attempt to move. Jeongguk grabbed her hips hoisting her onto his desk that was placed behind her.
Daeun gasped softly. Jeongguk pushed her legs apart so he could easily stand in between them. Jeongguk was getting ready to pull away and stop the scene, but Daeun grabbed ahold of his hand, holding him in place. She nodded softly, telling him that it was okay for him to continue. Jeongguk leaned closer to her, softly cupping her face. His lips brushing over hers, "So tell me that you don't love me," One of Jeongguk's arms snakes around Daeun's waist, pulling her closer to him.
His lips hovered over hers, staring at her, waiting for her to give him some sort of sign. Daeun broke eye contact as her eyes darted down to Jeongguk's lips. Jeongguk took that as a sign and before Daeun could react, Jeongguk's lips were on hers.
She instantly moved her lips against his. Loving the way that his lips felt against hers. Jeongguk moved his one hand from her cheek to the base of her neck, holding her in place. Daeun fisted Jeongguk's shirt, not sure how to feel about the kiss. She tried her best to match his fast pace but was struggling. Jeongguk was too into the kiss to realize what he was doing anymore.
His tongue slid over her bottom lip, asking for permission. Daeun opened her mouth for him, allowing his tongue to invade her mouth. Their tongues fought for dominance, both forgetting that they were in the middle of practicing a script. Jeongguk broke the kiss first, only to trail his lips down her neck, sucking harshly on the skin. Daeun dropped her head back, giving Jeongguk his room to work.
His teeth sunk softly into her skin making her hiss in pain. Jeongguk groaned and pulled away when his phone went off. He removed his hands from Daeun's body and she dropped her hands from him. "What?" Jeongguk snapped as he answered his phone.
"That's no way to speak to your boss, now is it, Mr. Jeon?" Another voice piped up from the other side.
Jeongguk's body stiffened. "Sorry sir, what can I help you with?" The tightness in his voice made it known that he was pissed.
The other person chuckled softly. "Am I bothering you?"
"No," Jeongguk was quick to respond, hoping that he'd get to the point as to why he called him.
"Good, now meet me at our usual place. You have a new assignment," With that the other man ended the call. Jeongguk ran his hands threw his hair in frustration.
Jeongguk sighed while annoyingly running his hands threw his hair. Jeongguk moved back so that he was in front of Daeun again. "I have to go. But, I'll be back shortly. Make yourself at home, okay?" Jeongguk couldn't help himself as he leaned down capturing her lips with his once again.
Daeun responded eagerly to the kiss, holding his head there. Jeongguk did nothing to stop her. Daeun pulled away before leaning into to softly peck his lips. "Go before you get in trouble," Daeun whispered against Jeongguk's lips.
Jeongguk smiled softly at the beauty sitting in front of him but nevertheless nodded his head and exited the room. Shortly after hearing the front door shut, Daeun received a text.
Gguk 💜:
I invited Tae to keep you company. Make yourself at home :)
She smiled softly before responding with a 'thank you.' Her fingers softly brushed over her lips, still faintly being able to feel his lips against hers, a feeling that she seemed to have gotten addicted to him too quickly. Daeun made her way down stares, waiting for Taehyung to arrive.
The doorbell went off followed by a knock making Daeun jump up in excitement. "Taehyungie~" Daeun sang as she opened the door but was disappointed when she wasn't facing Taehyung, but instead someone she hoped she'd never see again.
Jeongguk groaned in pain as he looked down at his side. The cut ran from this hip up towards his back. He had no idea how he was going to hind this from Daeun. He quickly took his mask off before walking into the store to grab some supplies. He sat down on a random bench before applying the ointment to his cut and wrapping a bandage around it. Hissing in pain occasionally.
He sighed before disposing of the dirty utensils. Jeongguk pulled his phone out of his pocket dialing Daeun's number. He waited for her to pick up the phone, but it went voicemail.
Da🥰:
I'll call you back in a sec.
Jeongguk grew uneasy as he picked up his pace. He called Taehyung who didn't answer either. His speed walking soon turned into running as he sprinted towards his apartment. He swung the door opened, his eyes darting for her. Daeun sat on the couch beside Taehyung staring at something in front of them.
Jeongguk looked at the man sitting in front of them with wide eyes. "Suga hyung? Why are you here?" Jeongguk asked as he made his way towards Daeun. He stood directly in front of her, blocking Suga's view from her. An unknown heat filled Jeongguk's body with the thought of Suga and Daeun being alone.
"You know him?" Taehyung's voice piped in.
Jeongguk looked at him before nodding his head. "He's my . . . boss if you will," Jeongguk clarified. Daeun stood up wrapping her small arms around Jeongguk's waist. Jeongguk wrapped his arms around hers, letting her know that he wasn't going anywhere.
"Jeongguk, you didn't tell me that you knew, Daeun," Suga spoke softly, tilting his head trying to look at Daeun.
Jeongguk moved himself so that he was once again blocking Suga's view. "My personal affairs don't concern you last time I checked," Jeongguk's voice was in a growl, making Suga's eyes widened. "How do you know her?"
"So she didn't tell you about me?" Suga asked as she stood up. "Daeun is my little sister," Jeongguk's face morphed into realization making Suga laugh. "And by the look on your face, it seems like you knew about me."
Daeun rested her forehead against Jeongguk's back, her arms tightening around him. Jeongguk's eyes were wide as he stared at Suga. Taehyung grew stiff and uncomfortable. Taehyung knew who he was, but the tension that was growing made him uneasy. "Kiyomi, come on, let's get some air," Taehyung grabbed Daeun's wrist tugging her out the door. She followed him, not wanted to be anywhere near her brother at this point.
Jeongguk sat down once they were out the door. Suga followed his lead, sitting down opposite of him. "So tell me, bunny, how'd you meet my sister and what the hell is she doing at your house?" Suga growled harshly at Jeongguk who seemed completely unfazed by him.
"That's simple," Jeongguk tilted his head, his eyes black with hidden emotions. "Because of you."
