" Wakey, Wakey Lexa.... it's tone to train " Rivo said in a calm voice as he was shaking my voice trying to wake me up. " Sleeping beauty " he said in a louder voice as I friend around, groaned and his my face in the pillow. " already... it's so early..." I groaned and dragged the blanket more over myself. " we're not gonna train in the backyard, we'll be outside the fence " he said in a low tone as he dragged the blankets off me and I felt my body shiver off the cold air that blowed through my window. I sat up and yawns whilst looking up at him tiredly and rubbed my eyes " You sure you wanna learn combat?" He asked as he picked out some clothes for me. " Of course " I told him as I stood up and widen my eyes to fully wake up before grabbing my clothes.
" I'll make us some food, drink and some first aid kit in case " I nod my head as I started to get dressed.
He'd put out some simple clothes that we'd buy for the cheapest off money, I realised as I put them on that it weren't any clothes we had bought, it were my mothers clothes from when she were little, I remember my father looked through my mothers clothes when she died, and these were one off those. I wonder why he would bring them to me now? At least now that I were going to learn combat, maybe he hoped I would ruin them so the memories were gone, or maybe it were some generation giving clothes? Perhaps all the girls in our family would use them for combat?
I'll never get the answer off that question, but I suppose that, that is for the best, not to know.
I put my hair up in a simple brown braid with two braids on each side off my head that met in one braid along with letting my bangs stay the way they always stays, brushed but messy with some longer hairs falling down just in front off my ears.
Me and my brother walked through the forest for a bit, I wonder why he's suddenly going to bring me out here? I mean he's always worried about me and barley let's me out off the house...
I look up at him sometimes as we walk along the path when I finally get the courage to ask him.
" Why these clothes? And why out off a sudden are you bringing me out off the village?" I exhale deeply. Rivo turns to me as he rais he's eyebrows almost off I said something out off the blue, he just shock his head as we come to and open field with lots off free grass, a few green in the far horizons and the sun that was starting to peak up to wake up those who still remained asleep. He put the long sticks and the other supplies he brought with us and placed them onto the ground before turning to me. " Follow me..." he mumbles as we walked further into the field and we both sat down " Close your eyes and breath slowly through your mouth and breath in through your nostrils and take in all the scents around you" I was a bit confused by his action and words, this is not how I will be good at combat, I'm not going to be good at anything by sitting in an open field and breath.
" Now listen closely to everything I tell you, this is import for you to member in every battle, remind yourself before your future battles.." he said in a calm voice. Remember this in every battle? Techniques? What is he talking about, all off this doesn't make sense, I'm not going to be a warrior if I'm not going to train to be one. " warriors aren't always the once to win, but they're the once who never stop fighting for what they believe in"
Seriously? What is this crap talk " I'm not gonna be an warrior if you don't learn me combat Rivo..." I grunt as I open my mouth and lean my head onto both off my hands and looks over at my brother upsetting. " Lexa!" He snapped at me angrily as he opens his eyes and looked at me seriously. " To be a warrior is not just about fighting, it's a bout the mind to, you need to control yourself or else you'll be an easy target... and one day if you've not learned how to control your mind, then that's what will kill you..." he grunted. " I'm not using my mind when I'm fighting Rivo, when I fight I use my strength and my best techniques..." I snapped back at him. " If you want to be an good warrior you have to think as one, not as a coward..." he said less angrily. Ouch that really did hurt. I frown deeply as I inhale and looked down at the ground. " Hey look, I'm just trying to help you not to die in battle okay..." he said softly as he reached his hand out to mine. I looked up as I take his hand and stands up with him. " I'm sorry..." I mumble. " Don't worry, I don't blame you, I acted the same way the first time dad brought me out here " he chuckles.
I look up at him as my eyes lights up " Dad brought you out here before?" I questions as he nod. " Yes and that's why I brought you out here too, I want you to learn the exact same things as I did. I believe that you can be an much better warrior then what I'll ever be Lexa, I see great potential in you, the only thing we need to fix is your mind set, Alright? I'll teach you everything that dad learned me and some combat. " he told me softly as we walked back to the sticks and we each picked up one.
- Do you think she'll be an great warrior? -
