CHAPTER 14 - INSIDE THE ROOMS

A loud sound woke everyone up. They were all locked up in a room. A room that has things that they can use to improve and discover their abilities.

Steph's Room

"It seems like they have been watching me since then."

He said as he looked around the room. The room was filled with plants.

"Wait, what was in there?" he opened the cabinet and saw, "Are these high-end modern rifles?" he caressed it and saw the seal of their family.

"Your father sent that," it was Lady Samson who suddenly appeared on his side.

"How did you get in? The door was locked and I heard no noise. How did you do that?" Steph was uncomfortable. He sways his hand a lot when he does.

"You were just like him," Lady Samson giggled, "Calm down, Young Prince. I have all the means and capability to do so. That's why I locked you all in a room where you can be you all the time with no to spy you."

"You."

"What do you mean?"

"You can spy on us. So how can I be comfortable knowing that you may enter and see what I am doing?"

"Don't mind me, dear. I will guide you all throughout. Don't worry."

Lady Samson disappeared.

"In our country, I am not allowed to use weapons like these," he was holding a rifle, "The King will always send me to the ladies of the garden and they will teach me how to talk to plants as if they will truly answer me back. I envied Roi for playing with guns and at the same time, he is a genius at combats. I am tired of playing like a coward. It is time to play brave. And a brave man plays with a rifle."

Roi's Room

"I wonder what Stephen is doing in his room. What can I do with all these books?"

"Well, Young Man, those books are books of spells, battling, and tactics. I know you were the brightest fighter of your country," that's Lady Samson.

"So you were eyeing on us this whole time?" asked Roi.

"I have been roaming around while we are setting up and waiting for this island to rise. To find the most promising and potential leaders this world may have. But I guess, North is playing with us," Lady Samson.

"Why would we play with someone we don't know?"

"That is the point, Young Man! You should play safely if you don't know who you are playing with. Get yourself ready, okay? Harness your skills and prove me wrong."

Lady Samson disappeared.

"I don't know what will happen but I all I know is that Steph and I should protect each other. Aside from being North's marksman, I can also invent different weapons to kill and silence people."

Roi was walking around and saw a chest, "A chest in a controlled room," he looked at the ceiling searching for cameras, "Is this some kind of prank?" he opened it and saw pieces that can be used to make weapons.

"We have the pieces but it lacks some parts. I have here books about witchcraft. What the hell? Are they trying to make me a wicked inventor?"

He browsed the books and look closer to the parts searching for ways to build it as a powerful one.

"Why the hell someone would make us so intelligent with our things? I don't know what you are up to, but let me play with you. Bring it on and let us play your game."

Tosh's Room

"Even on this island, I am living with animals. Not in a forest, but in a room," Tosh sighed.

His room was designed like a live cage for wild animals. There's a lioness, jaguar, wild boar, bear, snakes, and many more.

"They should have said to me that they'll make me a zookeeper and not invite as a trainee. What a joke?" and he covered his face with a pillow.

He felt something on the side of his bed but he ignored it knowing that it may be one of the animals in there. But his pillow suddenly flew. And as he turns his head, he saw Lady Samson.

"We do not tolerate jokes here, Young Master."

"How did you come in? I have tried to bang it all up but I couldn't. And I didn't hear the door opened. What the hell did you do?"

"Have you forgotten that this is a mythical island? I also trained myself to be different and strong so that I can teach the next generation of leaders well," Lady Samson answered while she plays with her nails.

"We all know you are up to something. You made Northeast and South fight. I thought you will bridge all the nations for peace and unity, but why did you do that?"

"To teach everyone temper and understanding? To make things revealed as early as now and prevent from digging up more dirt and hatred, I think so?" and she winked at Tosh.

"You have your point but why didn't you stop them when you saw that South is almost killing Northwest?"

"You have here books about animal behavior and instinct. You can also learn to do spells and magic and all sorts of things that you wanted to learn or enhance, besides, you have these wild animals inside your room," she pointed at the animals one by one and Tosh followed it.

When he turned his head to ask, "You haven't answered my question yet," there was nobody beside him.

I am enchanted by the idea of the Gods and Goddesses of the Southeast. I have been also hearing about the comeback because a new God was born years ago but there was still no news about it. Is it why we are here? Because God is gaining knowledge and preparing for Southeast to take the lead on all nations?

What an interesting story right? But I have no reliable resources about it. It may also be good to only have a leader for all of the nations. I don't want to be greed about power like our Queen. I want a peaceful and safe nation to live in. I also want to see how beautiful each country will be.

So much for the thoughts. I have to make myself stronger so that the Queen will not call me useless. It's funny, right? I hate her but I would love to hear her praise me. Even just for once before I die. But it may be impossible because this island is too mysterious to be trusted.
