As Amy, Dolly, and Mia were discussing who would make breakfast, they all paused and looked at each other with uncertainty.
"Well, I actually thought Mia could make it for us," Dolly suggested with a hint of mischief.
Mia's expression turned to disbelief. "What? I don't even know how to make a sandwich!"
Amy sighed, resigned to their predicament. "Well, now... we're doomed!"
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of the fridge door closing. The girls turned to see Alex standing there.
"Who is it?" Dolly asked, a bit startled.
Alex raised his hand with a casual smile. "It's me. Since you all look like you just woke up, I thought I could make some breakfast for you all."
"Oh," Dolly said, relieved. "Then just make me a grilled sandwich."
Alex nodded. "Sure."
Mia looked at Dolly, shaking her head. "Really, Dolly? Can't you just eat some salad? You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?"
Alex reassured them. "No, it's fine. I can make it. What about you two?"
Amy and Mia exchanged glances. "We'll just have some salad," Amy said, and Mia agreed.
"Alright," Alex said, already gathering ingredients. "So, what's your plan for today?"
Dolly shrugged. "It's nothin—"
"We're thinking of having a movie night," Mia chimed in, a touch of excitement in her voice.
"Nice," Alex said, nodding approvingly.
"Do you want to join us?" Mia offered.
Dolly's eyes widened. "What?!"
Amy looked puzzled as well.
Alex smiled. "No, you girls can have fun on your own."
Mia insisted, "No, you should join us."
Alex pretended to think about it. "Okay, then."
"Here, have your breakfast," Alex said as he finished preparing the food.
"Thank you," Mia said with a grateful smile.
"Thanks," Amy added.
"Well, well," Dolly said, clearly enjoying the breakfast, "finally, my breakfast is ready."
"Enjoy your meal," Alex said. "I'll be in the guest room. Call me if you need anything."
"Okay," Amy said, still processing how her morning had changed.
"Yeah, sure," Mia agreed.
In the afternoon, the girls gathered in the hall, playing video games and enjoying their day together.
"Hey, Alex," Dolly called out, "aren't you going to make lunch?"
"Yes, well, I looked for some food, but where are the veggies?" Alex replied. "I saw the cover, but there was only junk food."
Dolly hesitated. "Em... we were planning to eat them."
"So, what to do?" Alex asked, trying to think of a solution. "What about some noodles?"
"Yeah, sure," Dolly agreed. "Anything is fine."
"Hey, Mia and I will go get some ice cream," Amy offered.
"Yeah, I'm craving it," Mia added, already imagining the taste.
Dolly shook her head. "How can you both just go like that?"
"What?" Amy asked, confused.
"Don't forget your pepper spray," Dolly cautioned.
"Oh, right," Mia said, realizing how important it was to stay safe.
Amy and Mia quickly made their way to get ice cream, returning soon with treats in hand. They all enjoyed lunch together, bonding over their shared meal.
That night, the group gathered for their movie night.
"Em... what movie are we going to watch?" Amy asked.
"Romantic," Mia suggested.
"No, horror!" Dolly countered.
"Well, anything is fine with me," Alex added.
"Then let's put on a comedy film," Amy decided.
"Yeah, that's fine," Mia agreed.
"Okay, fine with me too," Dolly conceded, though she seemed less enthusiastic.
The group settled in to watch the movie, and as the night wore on, they enjoyed the film, snacking and laughing together. As they relaxed, the room became a little messy.
After the movie, they all went to sleep, tired but content with the fun they had.
The next morning, the girls slowly woke up, stretching and groaning from their deep sleep.
"Hey, what time is it now?" Mia asked, her voice still groggy.
Amy stretched, wincing. "Argh... my body hurts."
"Mine too," Mia agreed.
"Well, mine too," Dolly added. "It's because we slept longer than usual."
"Argh!" Amy muttered.
Just then, Luna's cheerful voice echoed through the house. "Rise and shine, girls! It's 12 in the noon!"
"Yeah, Mom," Amy said, half-awake. "Wait—MOM?!"
Mia's eyes flew open. "Mom?!"
"Aunt Luna?!" Dolly exclaimed.
The girls looked at each other in surprise, their laughter and excitement growing as they realized they had all slept past noon, and Luna had returned home unexpectedly.
