"I'm also not afraid of any kind of negative status ailments so if you can dish anything like that out while I'm in the line of fire, go for it. In fact, I encourage any negative status ailments coming my way. I can shrug most of them off with my immunity skill and whether it manages to take effect or not, I'll get a small boost every time a negative status ailment tries to take effect on me.
"I can even take on your negative status ailments for you and I'll get the same benefits!"
Am I the only one who thought that sounded like a sales pitch?
"I object to being classified as a freak!"
"You are without a doubt. No ordinary appraisal type skill could ever hope to make someone of your level see even a small part of my status. Also, you created multiple boss monster at will and seemingly with guaranteed success. On top of that you can still fight decently when by yourself. If you aren't a monstrous freak then who is? Besides, it's a compliment! Not too many get into the class of monstrous freaks as early as you. You already reached a similar level of freakishness as us branch managers but you are still growing quickly."
Clink ruthlessly supports Navi and leaves me no chance but to accept this classification as objective truth. But am I really comparable to a branch manager like Clink?
"Fine, I'm a freak. But just so you know, I didn't want to be a freak."
"Oh don't you worry, we can tell. Why people like us work hard all day to improve you just get everything handed to you by Lady Luck. Fucking freak."
Wow, someone's angry at me for no reason. And it just had to be the girl that looks like she wants to punch someone. Is it Teen Angst? Will my daughters end up like that too?
"Speak for yourself dojo girl. I for one greatly respect someone who started out as a carrier and has already got the acknowledgment of a branch manager. Luck may have played a key role but he still seized the opportunities presented to him and made into his luck. Also, luck's a skill like any other, if you don't have it, find ways to compensate."
Another member of today's team building exercise seems to have joined us and she doesn't seem to be on the best of terms with the boxer teen. Navi, you seem surprisingly quiet.
"Teen Angst! Did you think I was having Teen Angst! You old *****, I'll **** your ******** with my ****** until your own mother won't recognize you!"
Navi, did you have to say that into everyone's heads? I don't particularly feel like sharing my innermost thoughts.
Meanwhile boxer teen actually starts charging at me and I instinctively use instructor's assessment while shifting into a defensive position.

Yeah, she stands no chance against me so she'll definitely detonate the moment I evade or block her hits. I'll-
A punch hits my face mid thought and I'm blasted back a few steps. My cheek hurts and what the fuck!
My head buzzes from the impact and when my vision recovers, I see that Clink has grabbed boxer girl into a choke hold and is whispering something into her ear that makes the poor teen turn increasingly pale.
So by focusing on your be skill and getting it far enough she can somewhat make up for a difference in levels?
"This is all escalating a little quickly so I'll finish introductions before Navi makes another conflict break out."
"That just makes it worse. Now, the girl with very evident Teen Angst here is Pascal Fenn, a second gen dojo member. She mostly just a punching machine with a side of mild hallucinogenic and the ability to fire her needles. She can also self detonate, but she won't be doing that, nor will she attack her allies again, right?"
