First seventeen

I have already recognized the fact that I am dead in my original time and this is who I am and will be from now on . But this body of mine still remember it's original owner , it remember the memories and feeling of the princess very clearly . I don't know what happened to the original soul of the princess but I an the one who is living right now so the decision and emotions should be mine .

But even though when Ronald said that the people here are being sold like some goods , somewhere in my mind a sleeping emotion suddenly surfaces , like anger , sadness and... responsibility .

I don't know if it's me or this body mine that is feeling like this , but the idea of slave trading in this cruel manner doesn't sit right with me .

"Do you have any proof to accuse the royal family like this?"

"There are several."

Ronald went out to bring something . Derek finally said..

"Princess I don't think you should be involved in this."

"Derek.. I am a royal member too . And they are the subjects of this empire."

"But princess...."

Ronald returned before Derek could finish .

"Here are all the evidence you need . It's a copy of what I have , you can look at it later and come back later."

"How can I find you again?"

"Come to the city like today , I will be waiting for you ."

"Okay"

Ronald came all the way to sent us off . After returning I immediately went to my room . I am sure Derek wanted to talk , but not now . After taking a bath and eating dinner I feel fresh again .

Julia left earlier than usual . So I started to look through the documents after she left . At first I couldn't understand anything but slowly it started to make sense . And when it did I was utterly shocked by the content of the documents .

First were the lists of the people who pick up the goods , that is the people from down city . There were at least 60 of them and with each individual group of their own . Then was the list of the place where the business take place . There was over 100 places . Some were at the border and some were even at the capital cities .

As I searched through it I found the middle men who do the delivery , then the buyer are some rich people but mostly commoners . Then there were a lot of low class nobels . The process is long enough to reach even one or two count . And in the last page there was a contract attached to it .

The contract was about delivering 50 slaves in exchange of a large sum of money and the contractors were Lady Verolina , my aunt and Lord Theodore .

I cannot believe it , no matter how much of a shitty person Theodore is but slaves! This is too much . In the book Theodore was never described as a person involved in this kind of things .And my aunt on top of it !

No wait a minute!
