Still Not Enough
"Hey, wake up!" Someone wakes me up. Oh men, my head really hurts. When I opened my eyes I saw the people cheering, crying, saying "awe" as Nancy and Dylan kissed. I turned my head to see who's with me and saw Lena.
"They look perfect with each other." She said, yeah you've already said that many times.
"What happened to me?" I asked while I compose myself and she help me by fixing my messy hair.
"You eat, you get drunk and become shit real quick." I look at our table filled with wine glasses. Oh men, did I drink all of them? No way.
"A-am I broke?" She shook her head. "Then why I drank a lot?"
"You said a busy lady like you never had a chance to have fun. So you push yourself to drink a lot. Seriously Sum? In Nancy's wedding?" I'm still confused on what's happening and Lena brought out an apple and gave it to me. I smiled and thanked her.
"Why the heck you carry an apple in a wedding?" Seriously.
"I always have one ya know" Lena rolled her eyes.
"Say Lena.. Am I that busy?"
"Yeah, since high school your intelligence is more ahead than a normal student. I heard that you became a dean's lister in your university and you took Engineering. So yeah"
"I'm an Engineer!?" She nodded. Oh my gosh! That is my dream job! Yes! I feel it! I smell it! I know that Glyde really is the one! I have a good future! Everything's perfect!!
"Are you alright? You spaced out and smiles like a maniac" I took a bite from the apple and gave Lena a really nice warm hug. "You're so weird" I heard her but I ignored what she said because I can't really imagine that my life is very successful now.
Before I could say a thing my phone vibrated, I took it from my pocket and saw a text message from Glyde.
Fiancé:
Meet me at the Mīn Æppel Resto tonight.
Mīn Æppel Resto, one of the most expensive restaurant here in Royalwood. I never ate there in my entire life. But maybe I am because I'm a rich woman now.
"Lena.." I met again her ocean blue eyes.
"Do I have a car?"

I'm so embarrassed with myself right now! I do have a luxury car but I don't know how to drive it! I'm on my way to the resto covering my face to hide this embarrassing face with a man I don't even know. Why? I rented him to drive me!
"We're here Miss" He unbuckle his seatbelt and hop off from my oh-so-called car. I move out of it and started to get some money from my wallet. It takes me a lot of time to look for ten bucks but my wallet is full of hundred that's why I don't have a choice but to hand him the hundred.
"This is too huge Miss" The man can't accept the money.
"I know.. but I don't have a dollar here so please take it" I know it's too huge! I am a person who's really strict when talking about money. I'm also crying deep inside because it's huge! The man surprisingly hug me and cries a lot.
"Thank you for the money Ma'am, my son is sick and I can't buy his medicines. Thank you for this, I owe you a lot." Now I feel so guilty for having my second thoughts about that red headed man.
"Here" I handed him another one. "Your son needs the money, now go buy what he needs." The man cries and thanked me again, he bid his goodbye and I began walking through the resto.
When the door opens, a friendly guard greeted me. I can smell the aroma of brewed coffee, the flames inside the kitchen is visible, people wearing fancy dresses and suits. And here I am, comfortable with my jeans, shirt and heels.
"Reserved table of Glyde Reyes" The waiter take me to the right table and saw a flawless Glyde wearing a black dress sitting still and look damn gorgeous. Even though I saw how age hit her.
"Hey" The only thing I could say.
The moment we ordered and ate. No one tries to talk first. Really? Is she my fiancé? Then why Glyde is so cold to me.
"Are we talking about the wedding or what?" She look at me with her poker face. "Maybe we should look for an event orga-"
"Let's separate ways." She simply said. I don't know what to feel this is all so sudden.
"W-why?" I asked controlling my emotion. Oh men, no. Please. My life is perfect now.
"You've been busy all throughout the years. I just.. Yes you do this for us, you exert a lot of efforts since day one. But.. I'm tired."
"Then rest.. Don't leave, just rest." I pleaded. I just don't want to leave this fortune.. Dad.. Her..
"I know you do everything for me, you give all. But I don't feel that you love me. I just feel that I am not the one for you Summer." A tear drop from my eyes. I am silent, I don't know what to say. All I heard was sorry then she left me hanging.
I am so confused right now, seriously. I thought everything will be fine, I thought I'm going to be happy with Glyde.
A waiter come from nowhere and served the dessert, an apple and potato salad. Instead of handing me the bill, he handed me a paper. I look at him but he left to serve the other table.
I don't mind the paper and ate the salad. As I chew the potato and apple, geez! heaven dude! Heaven! This is the most tasteful, flavorful yet simple salad I ever tasted! Even it costs a lot man, I could buy some more!
"Enjoying our best seller?" I was surprised when someone speak behind me. Oh Gosh, when would she even stop doing that.
"Lena! Hey, what are you doing here?"
"I'm more like the owner of this"
"Are you dead serious!?" She nodded showing her smile. "Then why you named your resto like that? It's so hard to guess how to pronounce it." Yeah seriously, no one ever had an idea why the hell this resto was named like that.
"I saw you with Glyde, what happened?" Oh wow, she changed the topic.
"Well, you're right again. She's not the one."
"Again?"
"Nevermind"
"Anyway.." She stood up and fixed herself. "I need to go. Enjoy the dessert that's unlimited just for you." The blonde tucked my stray hair that make me look like a messed up ass, then she chuckled and left me. I grab the fork and started to dig in until I saw the paper from the waiter who handed me earlier. I opened the paper and automatically smiled at it and I almost forgot my loneliness.

Now I get it, an apple and potato salad. Lena is such I fool that's why I love that human. I finished my meal and still paid for the food. I started to leave the resto and saw my car outside.
I frowned.
Now how in the world I'll drive this car.
