Chapter 28:- Baroda city at its best.

When we reached he stopped the car in the parking lot. I was excited to see the place.

We both came out from the car.

When we both stepped out of the car He told me that, " This area is near to our dinner place and it's also inside the city you're going to enjoy the next more than one hour time here."

After listening to him I said to him, " Okay well thanks for taking me here. I have never been to these places. So it's my first time visiting these places."

We both reached the place where in the entrance two security guards were standing and besides there was a ticket window.

So we have to buy tickets to enter this place. I took my purse in hand to buy the tickets and he said, " I'm the one who takes you here. So today's food treat is by you and this little tour is by me. I don't want to listen to anything so get agree with me on this."

I have no options, my comment on him being stubborn is true. He isn't in the mood to listen to me and he also agrees to be treated by me. So I'm not going to argue with him.

I told him that, " Okay, Go ahead you can buy tickets for us but don't forget that today's food treat is by me."

He has a victorious smile on his face like he has won something in his life.

Then he bought the tickets and we entered from the gate.

The place has some shops to buy toys for kids, tea post, snacks shops, buying tickets for children activity and also one shop for buying tickets for Boat riding, one common shop for buying tickets for all inside activity. This place has a beautiful lake and some boats are also in the lake. Very few people were busy in boat riding. Some people were watching their children doing some activities.

Some people were busy eating snacks while sitting in front of the shops.

Few people are walking on the jogging track which is surrounding the lake.

Hindi and Gujarati songs were playing on loudspeakers. It's not that loud so people don't need to shout while talking but it's giving more beautiful feelings for the people like us who love music.

It's 6:15 p.m. so I told him, " Can we just walk one round around the lake? It's really a beautiful place."

He says, " Yes, we can. It's the second time I'm coming to this place. First time I came here with my friends. This time also I'm with my friend but this time my friend is different."

I smiled and said, " Well, It's my first time visiting this beautiful place."

He talked about different places of Baroda which he visited and I also shared my experience about my visit to different places of Baroda.

When we finished our first round around the lake he said, " Do you like to ride in the boat?"

I said, " Yes, I think we should sit in the passenger boat. I don't want to go in a pedal boat."

He says, " Okay, let me buy tickets then we go towards the lake to sit in the passenger boat".

As we decided he is going to pay for all tickets of today's tour except the food.

He came with two tickets and then we went towards the lake.

It's sunset time and the lake is looking beautiful with mesmerizing sky colour changes.

We both sat in the boat with a few other passengers.

Today is Saturday so people are visiting this place with their families.

We both enjoyed the ride and while talking with each other. When we were riding the boat, a night of winter started and the place got decorated with lights. At night the lake looks beautiful. Romantic songs of Bollywood were playing in the background when we were enjoying the lights and night view of this place.

More people are now starting to visit this place at night to see the beautiful night view.

This place is in the city. So at night when the lights of the city are on it looks good and showcases the beautiful view of the city.

In January in Gujarat the whole day it's like summer with no feeling of cold and at night suddenly cold wind starts and it realizes that it is a winter season.

I don't have any warm clothes with me right now but we are in a crowded place so it's okay to not have any warm clothes.

The boat riding continued for more than half an hour.

After that when I looked at the time it's 7:00 p.m. I said to him, " It's 7:00 p.m. and I am feeling hungry now. Can we eat something from here while enjoying this music and the beautiful lighting of the city and lake.?"

He says, " Sure, I'm also feeling hungry so let's eat some snacks from here, but after a few minutes we have to do dinner so It's going to be our starters for tonight's dinner. "

I smiled and said, " So tell me what you like to eat for your starter."

He said his order and I decided what I wanted to eat.

We took seats and ordered our snacks.
