Letting Go Of The Past

The soul carried Astrid's body over her shoulder. She trekked for miles and miles on end through the night. It was bitter cold and everyone was fast asleep. Dark and quiet only the howling of a wolf could be heard in the deep forest.

As the soul trekked along Astrid's body flapped lightly on her shoulder. Her body was light as if all the fluid in her body had disappeared. The soul wasn't sure how things would turn out she only hoped that things would work out.

No one was aware of her

whereabouts and she had made sure to not act suspicious. The last ten years had been utter turmoil for Astrid's family. The loss of her had still been too hard to cope with. That was why she had to take matters into her own hands.

She had secretly been working on this for the past three years. Of course, she figured everything would come into place once she had dug up Astrid's body. She had a mind of her own and the only way for things to go her way was to tell not a soul of her plans.
