Chapter 71: The Promise

Byakuya Ikemoto stared at the hand that was stretched out to him, and the man who had been his deadly adversary just a minute ago.

“Eh?”

Von Drachen still held his hand out with a smile, as if nothing. Ikemoto shrugged and wanted to grab onto his hand to stand up when blood poured off the wound on his chest. He winced and fell back to the ground. Seeing his troubles, Byakuya von Drachen ordered his female muse:

“Debbie, please tend to his wound”.

“Yes, my lord!”

Debbie knelt beside Byakuya Ikemoto and touched his wounded chest. Her hands glowed purple and closed the entire wound.

“Wow…” Ikemoto mumbled. This time, he stood up without any problems, and frowned at von Drachen: “What the heck does this mean? First, you nearly kill me, and now you smile at me?! What is it you want?”
