Chapter 92: The Night before Departure

Once Goldmund awoke, Erisa hugged him tightly and burst into tears. She told him she had forgiven him and would always love him, no matter what. Goldmund cuddled with her and kissed her on the forehead.

“I love you too, Erisa. I am so happy that you’ve forgiven me my awful deeds! I was so frightened you’d never look at me again…”

“You were always kind to me, Goldie. I… I can never be wrathful towards you”.

While Goldmund and Erisa were having their romantic disclosure time, Edmund visited Riza in her room. This latter was sitting with Edmond on her bed and was writing new lyrics for a song in her notebook. She appeared to still be upset over her and Edmund’s earlier argument.

“Um… Riza?”

“Oh, come in”.

“Sorry if I annoyed you,” Edmund chuckled, adjusted his glasses, and took a seat on the edge of her bed.

“Good you are sorry, because you indeed are annoying,” Edmond grinned.
