Is it something that was destined to happen?

Can it be changed?

No. If it can be changed, it would't be known as fate, isn't it?

They say that fate can be control in our hands.

Then, is it possible to take everything in total control in my hands?, I wondered.

No, whatever the results is, I'm sure this was fated to happen under my control.

With such a line thrown to him, the 16-year-old human, Lucifer Nightwalker von Nightmare, an orphan who was stranded on an island with his little sister and magical pet-- was forced to compromise and attend the famous Imperial Knights Academy as a special student.

Which later then, he would become a king-- leading everyone to challenge against the Celestial Gods.

I immediately accepted Restia's call while calmly placing my phone in my ear. 


"You— heartless monster…! You blacklisted my passport! How could you do that to me…!?" Restia yelled. 


"…If I don't, you won't at least listen to me." 


…Though she's still angry, but at least she's willing to talk now. 


She's shaken. I just need one more push. 


"Please… forgive this idiot of a brother." I murmured. 


"…(Sniff)…… (Hic)… Uwahhhhhh………………" 


Like a balloon bursting, Restia cried as much as she could. 


It stung my heart— like I was getting pierced by multiple needles. 


…Because I could tell that her cries had a mixture of pain, frustration and relief. 


"…Shut up." She uttered. "……you heartless monster."
