Chapter 10- Suspicious

Everything felt out of space. It was like I was not myself anymore. I was lost. And cold. The journey I was travelling got me where I was right now and I couldn't find my way back. I was in middle of nowhere, alone. My body was trembling. There was darkness, everywhere. Cold wind blowing, I shuddered. This was weird and awkward and scary all at once. And then suddenly I saw a figure. I was in a park now. A figure standing to it's full height from behind the bushes. It was a he. A man. Face hid in hood. Taking steps towards me. With every step my heart went wild. With every step he got taller. His body hovered over my fragile body and then....

He took his hoody down...slowly... like a snail. My heart was thumping so loud that even he could hear. And than finally. His hoody was off. *welp* I took a deep breath and looked upward....

"AAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH." I set up in my bed, trembling. My whole body was sweating and trembling. I just a had nightmare. It was just a bad dream. I'm at home. I'm safe.

"Su.. Su kid u okay?" Sienna came running to my room. I was struggling to breath. It was my lungs refused to take in air.

"Su..oh kid. It was just a dream...." She was saying something in my ear embracing me but my mind was shut. My body was numb. The only heat I was getting was from Sienna's body. This was the worst nightmare I had in months. It was different this time. It was so scary. Being in Sienna's embrace calmed me down. I could breath. My heartbeat was getting normal. I untangled myself from her embrace. She took this as a sign to leave me be. Just like every other time.

I was laying in bed, too afraid to sleep again. My mind was chaos, utter chaos. That tall man in hoody....even the thought of him made me shudder.

Sunshine coming in from the window. It was already morning. Ughh!!

Oh no no noooo.... Ugh! I almost forget about that jerk in chaos of mind. *Oh god please show mercy on me. Please don't make me cross path with that jerk today and embarrass myself* I prayed in my mind. Facing that jerk after that embarrassing encounter outside the dean's office was the last thing I wanted today.

"Good morning students. Welcome to Your English lecture today. I am Robert. Yesterday you met my assistant. Sorry for not attending you guys yesterday. " Professor said. Rest of 20 mins were spent in introduction of students.

Someone came barging in the room. Thump. Classrooms door burst open and a panting man stood there, hands on his knees. Must be running. Ha! still late. I smirked. Huh? Why am I smirking? Jeez, lack of sleep must have made me mad. Ughh!. I put my head down on the desk. The perks of sitting in back is no one will notice even if I a take a lil nap.

"Hm and u must be....?" Prof. Robert asked.

"Oh..I..Um. I'm Luke Ken." Panting guy said. Something about his voice was very familiar. I looked up and WAIT WHATT!!!! The last thing I wanted was standing in front of my eyes. I sinked in my seat. Trying to hide myself from his eyes. Not that he could see my with so many students in classroom.

'Calm SU...It's okai. It's just the matter of 35 mins. Hide urself for 35 mins and you'll be good to go.' I said to myself, taking slow breaths. You should always be positive. Yup. Imma be positive. Why always think the worst right!?

"Mr. Ken. Please take your seat. And make sure to be on time from next time." Prof said, quite harshly I might add.

"Yes sir." His eyes were searching for a empty seat. I sinked in further in my seat. He started walking. And YES! *phew* We were sitting in different corner of class. Ha! There was no way he would notice me here. I highfived in my mind. Nice. Rest of the class was spent in peace. There was nothing interesting. Professor just explained no. of assignments we will get in the year and the pattern of the exams and everything. I also made a friend. More like a assignment partner. She was sitting on the seat in front of me. Her name's Lucy. She was in Eco class too.

"C'mon lecture is over." Lucy said to me knocking on my desk.

"Ah yeah. I have business lecture next. You?" I asked getting out of thoughts.

"I have Biology lecture." She sounded exhausted. But the day just started. Well she must be a busy person.

"Wow cool. Biology is nice I guess." I said packing my stuff in my bag.

"Yeah it is." She smiled. Hm.

"Okay, let's go." And we head to the door together. Our classes were in different directions so we part our ways.

"Bye. We'll meet in Eco class. Nice to meet you Susan." She said waving and smiling.

"Bye. Pleasure to meet you Lucy. See ya." I said waving back. I turned around but got bumped into um a wall? Huh? It was a person not a wall! I looked up and SHITT!!. IT WAS HIM. OFC!

"Clumsy much." He smirked. What the hell is wrong with this guy. Ugh!!

"Sorry about that." I said with a straight face and tried to walk around him but he stood in front of me. HUH!

"Excuse me, I'll be late to my lecture. And I don't like being late to my classes." I said and pushed him away from my way. Now it was my turn to smirk. Gotcha jerk! And with that I started walking when I heard him say.

"Feisty too. I like it. We'll see each other soon Su." He said loudly, making sure I hear. I turned around and saw him smiling. Wait. He was smiling. SMILING!!! not smirking. And oh boy I gotta admit he's kinda cute when he smiles. Better than that stupid smirk. Wha-? No. NO NO NOO. Keep your cool Su. Keep your cool. He's not cute. AT ALL! JUST ARROGANT! A JERK! and that's it nothing more nothing less. I turned around and headed to my class. I was walking to my Business class and I saw James standing in front of the class, arms crossed. Oh damn! I walked to her.

"Hey, I'm here. Shall we go inside now." I said stretching my hand to open the door but uh-oh. James held my hand and stopped me.

"Explain." Was all she said.

"I got bumped in someone. I'm sorry for making you wait." I said with my puppy eyes. She glared at me and huffed. With that we got inside the class. Like yesterday we took our back seats. Professor Steve was late. Which give people time to interact with each other.

"You have a thing for bumping in people or something?" James asked with smug expressions. I rolled my eyes at her. I took out my bottle of water and took a sip when.....

"It was him, no?" She asked. I choked on water. Waahh!!

"W-who?" I tried to sound clueless but failed.

"So it was him." She confirmed herself.

"How do u know?" I asked with a small voice.

"I saw you bumping in him."

"WHAT!?" I shouted. Everyone's eyes was on me now. Good work Su! I smiled politely at everyone.

"Is he following you or something or maybe you are hiding something from me!?" James asked glaring at me. My eyes widened.

"No. No it's nothing like you are thinking. He is in English class too. Why would he follow me?" I laughed a little trying to lighten the mood.

"The way he called you 'Su' it seems like he knows you well." James reasoned shrugging. I didn't even notice him calling me Su. James is right. There was something very suspicious the way he called me by my nickname and the way he said we'll see each other soon. What does he mean by that? Was he really following me or stalking me or something?
