"Elliot, there's something I need to tell you..." Astrid gripped on the hem of her skirt as she seriously looked at the boy in front of her. 


After listening to his story, she felt in so much pain that she decided to tell this to him. 


"A vampire?" The boy echoed as he blinked, "You mean, the one who sucks human blood?" 


"Y-yeah... You could say that. And I'm not joking! I really am a vampire!" 


Elliot blinked few times. She doesn't seem to be the type who's good at lying or inventing things. And by the sincere look in her eyes, he can tell, she's telling the truth. 


The boy nodded and smiled, "Yep. But, why are you telling me this?" 


"Well, if it's okay with you... I wanted to make an offer. You said you wanted to live and help your brother. I can do that... I'll give you my blood in exchange of good health and long life."
