Chapter 50: The Duel

It feels like time has stopped as he listened to this man before him. At first, he seems to be your average clumsy and innocent but a gentle fellow. Who would've thought he had gone through so much pain and suffering. The acceptance of what you're not used to be, the humiliation from people's eyes, the sorrow, the longing--he endured it all for the sake of surviving for the ones he cared about.

And now, he finally understands. Fate has been cruel sometimes but it actually shows its purpose.

"That ends my story. I'm sorry for keeping my identity as a secret until now." The priest said a d flashed a gentle smile. It was his usual smile yet this time, it shows affection and remorse.

Affection towards the lad he's facing right now. And remorse for not being able to be by his side during the times he needed the most.
