My Running Nightmare

“Ok. I can understand that my actions have upset you. I can even understand that it scares you when I threaten you, but can you at least give me a chance? At least allow me to be a human being and screw up? Can you find it in you to forgive me and stop being scared of me? Can you at least attempt to really be with me without allowing the past to define your future?” 


“All of that depends on you. Stop threatening me. Stop getting angry at every little thing I do. If you want me to move on from the past, then you have to stop doing things that you have always done, and making me relive the past. Can you do it?” 


“I’m going to do my best for you,” Jesse said as he pulled her against him and kissed her. 


“I’ve heard that before,” Renee mumbled.
