My Running Nightmare

Jesse took Renee home. When they got there, he opened the door for Renee. She just sat there and finally she looked at him. He waited until she moved so she was sitting on the edge of the seat with her legs out of the car. She looked like she was going to try to push herself up. He bent down and slid his arm under her knees and the other around her back. 


 “What are you doing? I thought you wanted me to stand up since you didn’t bring me the walker,” Tabitha said. 


 “I’m not going to let you walk while you have a cast on. I’ll carry you wherever you need to go until you heal up.” 


 “I need to learn to walk on my own.” 


 “And you will. Just not right now. Now, put your arms around my neck,” Jesse said as he began to lift her up. 


 Tabitha wrapped her arms around his neck and he walked her up to the door of the house. The door opened as he approached it and Tabitha saw a woman standing there. She frowned. Was this her home? If it was, why was this woman in it?
