Renee is a fun loving girl who meets up with Kevin and falls in love. What she doesn’t know is that Kevin has a dark past. It comes back to haunt him in the worst way. My Running Nightmare

“I still don’t understand why I stayed with him instead of trying to leave,” Renee said as she looked at the pictures again. 


 “I can let you read the emails we sent to each other. I don’t really know what all happened after you were taken but what you wrote was pretty graphic.” 


 Renee looked at her watch. She had to go. She didn’t have time to look at anything else. She sighed and stood up. She pushed the police report back towards Kevin. 


 “I have to go. I promised my son that I would tuck him in tonight. His bedtime is at 9 at the latest. If I leave now I’ll be a little bit early,” Renee said as she turned around to leave. 


 “Renee, wait,” Kevin said as he stood up and grabbed her arm. 


 “Kevin, let me go. Go home and forget about me. I obviously chose to stay with the man that tortured me for a reason. Whatever it was must have been good enough for me to build a life with him.”
