Tokyo, 3 in the afternoon.

The city skyline soars high amongst the areas as towers pierce the skies to reach the heavens while humanity expands to reach its limit. As they try to prosper and evolve to become the dominant species of the planet, there is still one thing that boggles one's mind. How did we get here? How did we start from dwelling amongst the darkest caves, running away from ferocious beasts of the wild, and having fear of the chances that we may never know if we could see another day to the now dominant species, advanced in the field of science, cropping out peace and being the species that are destined to protect their home planet? Well, we may never know, the history of our ancestors is vivid and we compose theories and stories to try our best to guess what humanity was. For now, this question will remain as a question and in a different part of the city, a character was being formed as she enters the world stage for the first time, with little no care for the things that were roaming through the planet.

In her small apartment, she slowly drags a heavy box from the outside world to her door. Her arms are getting tired as she was having issues to pull the box, as her muscles began to beg for oxygen, she began to pant to breathe and took a short break as droplets of sweat from her forehead fall. She rubs her forehead with her arm and continues to pull the box until it was finally inside. She was relieved as she finally finished the last boxes as sets up her new apartment. She took a small smile as she saw how her apartment is enough for her, and without any seconds, she began to clean the apartment and started to cater it.

After an hour and a half, she was finally done. The new apartment seems nice in her opinion and everything is well delighted.

“Phew… finally.” She slightly said as she looks around at her newly moved apartment. She then turns around to see a stack of boxes laying on the floor near the door.

“Right. Let's finish this.” She told herself as she slowly walks towards it.

“Ring! Ring!” A phone ringed in the background. She stopped and glanced over the table and saw her phone, vibrating as someone was calling her. She walked her way to the table, grabbed the phone, and went to one of the sliding doors that leads to the apartment's balcony. She took a deep breath and answered the phone on the balcony and places it near her ear.

“Hello?” She asked the dialer as she takes a few glances at the scenery of the cyberpunk-ish city of Tokyo in the distance.

“Kagura-san! Kagura-san!” The dialer impatiently repeated her name.

“Niji? What is it?” Kagura asked the dialer with an utterly worried tone.

“Your father is worried about you, he was wondering if you can live on your own.” Niji stated as she was informing Kagura about her father. Kagura sighed as her short black hair wave through the gusting wind.

“Don’t worry, tell him I'm fine. Besides, I can handle things on my own.” Kagura assured Niji. Even though her assurance was enough for the maid, the father isn't fine about her daughter living alone.

“Uhh okay. Good luck then.” Niji ended the call. Kagura smiled and slowly puts her phone into the small pouch of her short jeans. She comes back inside, shuts the sliding door, and puts her phone on the table. She then looked at the same pile of boxes in the corner and without hesitation, she cracked her arms and looked to her roof and smiled.

“Okay, time to build my PC.” Kagura stated. As the montage of her starting to build a PC by putting a processor to the motherboard, adding thermal paste to it, adding a cooler, adding two 16 Gigabyte of ram with 3200mhz to the motherboard, setting up the case by adding fans, putting a GPU, wetting up the Hard Disks and Sata Drives, and lastly, putting the Power Supply and she begins to cable manage everything. After building the unit, she puts two monitors on her table and began to manage the cables, she then places the keyboard and mouse to prepare the cable later. She finally adds the unit and connected the two monitors, and after 5 hours of building and setting up her Gaming PC, it was finally done.

She slowly walks backward as she was mesmerized by how she spent 5 hours to build the gaming computer that she always dreams of. She looked at her watch and saw it was already 10 p.m.

“Huh… Maybe I should take some sleep.” Kagura suggested to herself. She walks up to her bed with her phone in her hand and began to llisten to some music before she sleeps. However, her way of sleeping is different from the commoners, she always has her music on high volume, and nearly her neighbors can hear her tunes, banging through her apartment as it was there beside them.

It was fine for her until something began to bang on the other side of the wall. She stopped the banging music for a while, then, someone began to knock on her door. She sighed and went to the door, she opened it and saw a tall European man with brown hair, a sharp chin, and thin cheeks.

“Hello?” Kagura asked the European man. He began to talk gibberish in front of her and she has little to no idea what he was talking about. He continued to talk but it was blabber to her, she was confused about what he was talking about until someone ininterrupted them. A tall white woman with blonde hair and crystal blue eyes and a white nightgown appeared all of a sudden to interrupt them, perhaps.

“I am very sorry.” The woman said in Japanese as Kagura was surprised at how the woman talked to her language.

“Sorry, my partner couldn't sleep so he was a bit frustrated for tonight.” The woman excused the European man. Kagura slightly nodded and so what could someone do.

“It's alright, It's my fault as well.” Kagura apologized in Japanese to the woman.

“Oh okay… Good night then! Sleep well as well!” The woman stated as she pulls the European and left Kagura's door. She sighed and went to her bed with utter confusion.

“Who Are those two?” Kagura asked herself as she lays on her bed while looking at her apartment's roof.

To be continued….
