The beasts growls at him as its tentacles slithers in its mouth all the while his teeth are reflecting the purple sunlight from the decoloured area. The beast is hungry for human flesh, and he saw this Portougese man as his new meal, and Alexio is aware of it. Even though he manages to pin the monster down, it would dare to stand up and fight back. The beasts broke out from the lasso and began to charge toward Alexio, he saw this and decided to turn the wood nearby to a metal shield in hopes of stopping the beasts and prevent him from harm but once he blocked the beast by his shield, he feels the immense force of the beast as it wants to eat him like a hungered lion in a middle of a desert and manages to find a camel that can fill its stomach.
