Chapter Twenty-Five

Maddison was patiently waiting for Morgan by her car in a parking lot outside the main entrance of the church grounds. It was Saturday, or the Sabbath day as she came to know it, which meant rest from any form of secular work. She always got to church around seven thirty in the morning because she was a morning person. As an added bonus, the early morning service was not as packed as the late morning one. She was pleased that Morgan had not fought her on this.

Maddison began to reflect on the discussion she had with Liliana the previous day. The issue of her non-existent dating life had come up. It came up a lot whenever Liliana was around but yesterday it was different.
