THE BOYFRIEND

While Luna kept on looking at the car, she noticed that no one was inside, maybe Shawn was now picking Liza up inside the building. She heaved a sigh and glanced at the black car and thought that it was Sarah’s brother who was inside the car. She can only see the back of the man because the man was looking at the front where the car was facing in the exit direction.

She swallowed as she decided to head towards where Sarah’s brother was and greet him however, when she was about to leave, she heard the voice of Liza calling her name. She saw Liza holding Shawn’s hand and pulling him towards her.

Luna clenched her fist while staring at Liza drowning in happiness as she held Shawn. This woman has the gut. Even though she knew that Luna is Shawn’s woman, she kept on attaching herself to him like a leech.

Shawn and her eyes both met but Shawn avoided her gaze when he felt uncomfortable. Shawn’s action made Luna’s heartache. He is so cold towards her.

"Hi, Luna! I did not know that you are also here to take the licensing exam. How was the exam? I am sure it was difficult for you? Anyway, good luck with the result". Liza raised her left brow. She wanted to make Luna mad in front of Shawn.

Liza completely thought that Luna had a hard time answering the test but little did she know it is the opposite since it is already proven in their past that Liza was the one who was having a hard time with regards to their activities, assignment but also projects. She barely passes her final exam without the help of Luna who let her copy her own answer during the exam.

"Liza, my old friend, I would never be the top student in our department if it is hard, you know. Where in fact, the one real one who had a hard time was you. Kindly correct me if I am wrong. You should be worried about yours. Right, Shawn?". Luna said sarcastically. She even smiled to mock Liza. Liza got furious as she watched Luna belittle her in front of Shawn. She wanted to attack Luna because of what she said but she stopped herself from making a scene of wanting to pull Luna’s hair, she cannot let Shawn see how evil she was.

If Liza wants to fight, she needs to hit Luna’s weakness and that is Shawn. Liza smiled as she knew how to make Luna angry.

"Is that so? by the way, why are you here? Do not tell me you are still after my boyfriend. You two are already over, right? So, what are you still waiting for?" Liza said, made Luna mad and confused.

Isn’t she the one who called Luna first and mocked her? Why is she saying this now? Wait, boyfriend? Since when? Then Celestine smiled sarcastically like Luna was still interested in Liza’s show.

"Ohhh...", she uttered with expectation while still doing a sarcastic face. Luna made a sarcastic facial reaction while on the inside, and felt frozen when she heard Liza saying the word Boyfriend in her face.

Is she saying that they were already together? Impossible. Shawn does not completely know about Liza, even her existence. Why did he choose to be with her? Is he naïve?

“Boyfriend. Very funny, Liza. Good job! Should I congratulate you?" Luna answered with sarcasm, then clapped her hands.

Liza is being delusional. How did she manage to convince Shawn to be with him and turned him to be her boyfriend for only a short period of time? Did she give a love potion to him? Pathetic. Luna thought because Shawn will never fall in love with a person like Liza. Never.

Luna started to frown and feel frustrated on the inside because of the unexpected revelation but she still does not believe what Liza had said, unless it came from Shawn’s mouth. She wanted to hear it from Shawn himself. She only believes in Shawn, not Liza who only knows how to tell lies to impress others and she will never believe her unless Shawn confirms it.

“Shawn told me, is what Liza was saying is true? I wanted to hear it from you” Luna asked him bravely. She does not want to hear from him that it is true, because she knew that she would feel greatly hurt. The man in front of her was her everything, he is her great true love that is why hearing that he is already in a relationship with Liza is like stabbing her heart continuously until she died.

Shawn looked at her straight in her eyes. When Shawn opened his mouth to speak, Liza interrupted and answered Luna.

"Yes! We are already in a relationship. Didn't you know? I already spread the news in the campus blog. Also, it would be pleasurable to tell you face-to-face about this, about us". Liza raised her and Shawn’s intertwined hand in front of Luna’s face. She even showed some posted articles on her social media about her and Shawn being together, eating at fancy restaurants, shopping, and having a date in a grand place in the city. It gained lots of likes and comments from their followers.

Some of the followers were so happy about the news, about their relationship. However, some were confused because they knew that she was not Shawn’s real girlfriend. Those people who knew about Luna and Shawn’s relationship were telling that it was Liza who schemed Luna because they knew how lunatic Liza was. She will do everything to get what she desires even if she must hurt somebody just to satisfy her needs. Many people were still asking about what happened to Shawn and Luna, the campus love birds.

"That's not true." Luna said it with a low, serious tone. She knew that everything that was written in the Campus blog was all Liza’s doing even Shawn only heard what Liza said today. That is why Shawn also was surprised from what Liza said to Luna, but he does not have the gut to stop Liza. He does not want to make her mad.

Shawn could not do this to her. She still had hope about him getting his memories back. Meanwhile, Shawn was staring at Luna who already wanted to cry but bit her lips just to prevent herself from crying. He does not know what to say but somehow, he felt sorry for her.
