Chapter 13

Hoorain closed the door of her room loudly and then fell on the bed. Tears were constantly flowing from her eyes. She didn't want to go back, but she didn't want to go any further. She was tired of entertaining herself, 'Akbar will be busy, Akbar will be sleeping at this time, Akbar will be busy in an important meeting, his phone will be silent, etc. She had entertained herself with many of such excuses, but now the matter had gone too far. She felt like the veins of her brain would burst from all the thoughts running through her mind; igniting only frustration and hurt. Suddenly her phone started to ring, Akbar's name was flashing on the screen. This was the last straw as she picked up her mobile phone and threw it away with such force that it hit the wall and smashed into pieces. She was so mad that she hit her head against the headboard of the bed and the next moment her mind was plunged into darkness!

When Akbar reached the house of Hoorain the next day, Nasreen Begum and Rafiq Sahib greeted him warmly. Akbar's eyes were looking for Hoorain but he did not see her anywhere. Nasreen Begum got the hint and explained.

"She's been feeling a little bad since last night, so she just took the medicine and fell asleep. I invited you and I told her about it. She will join us for dinner very soon."

"Oh well! Yes, I called her so many times yesterday but the phone rang once and then till now it’s unavailable. I was worried but then I thought I would come today and see her." Akbar said.

"Yes, her mobile phone fell and broke. I scolded her because now that Akbar's son will call, how can we talk?" Nasreen Begum smiled and Akbar laughed.

"Thank you so much for caring so much! Hoorain is so lucky to have a loving and caring mother like you."

"Hey ... Every woman is full of motherly love. Women are the perfect examples of love, care and loyalty, ”said Rafiq Shah.

"No. Not every woman is chaste and faithful, and not every child is lucky enough to have a caring mother." There was a slight bitterness in Akbar's voice. Rafiq Shah and Nasreen Begum, both shook their heads in understanding.
