According to the doctors, there was no danger if he’s well taken care of, but even then he could be allowed to go home after four days. So Akbar was staying in the hospital with Aunty. He had sent Hoorain home with the driver so that she could rest and stay later. Although she did not want to go, she agreed without much reluctance and this surprised Akbar but he did not comment on it.
On the first day, Aunty stayed, then at the insistence of Akbar and Rafiq Shah, Hoorain stayed for the remaining 3 days.
In those days, at some point in the night, Akbar fell asleep while sitting there. Hoorain was also sitting at some distance, but when Akbar's eyes were opened again, Hoorain was not in her seat, so he immediately panicked. He found out from two or three people on the hospital staff who had seen her go out. He immediately thought of calling her mother, but then realized that she must be resting at this hour, so there was no point in bothering her. So he sat there waiting at the entrance of the hospital. About half an hour later, Hoorain returned and Akbar stared at her. She completely ignored him and moved away. Akbar followed her.
"Where did you go at this hour of night?" He asked without hesitation. She sat down on the chair and shrugged without looking at him. This attitude angered Akbar.
"What do you want? The outside world isn't safe at this time of night. Anything bad can happen. Don't you know? I'm asking because I care." Akbar confessed and then he saw a slight smile on her lips as if she liked to think of Akbar but she did not want to express it, but that smile was so minor that Akbar felt deceived by his eyes.
“I’m talking to you, Hoorain? Look at me and answer me." When Akbar insisted sternly, she turned towards him.
"You have no right to ask me. I am not bound to answer you because my parents are still alive, Mr. Akbar Shah!" Hoorain looked into his eyes and smiled sarcastically and Akbar's blood boiled.
"You’re bound to answer me because at this moment, you are my responsibility and you are with me. Anyway, I am your fiance and future husband. It means that I can ask anything and you must answer, whether now or later." Akbar said in a warning tone and she rolled her eyes.
"Husband to be ... but not yet. And anyway, the responsibility of being engaged is not being fulfilled, what will happen to the husband." Saying this, she did not stop there but got up and went to the room in which Rafiq Shah was kept and Akbar gritted his teeth with frustration.
