Health -10

Charging towards a detected Urchin has to be the best part when hunting such a species because they can't really dash away, these small things crawl really slowly.

Stalking the species for a few seconds but realizing that taking too much time here, being exposed to danger, isn't such a good idea.

So he finally reached close enough to take a bite of the spiny sea creature.

Satisfaction far from Tim's disposition, the black points surrounding the Urchin's body, scratch the little Stingray's chin and a bit of blood breaks out!

Although he has bitten off most of the creature, the damage it delivered is still there and Tim fears for the worst although realizing that such small species can't be too dangerous.

[Health -10 bars]

The system declared and it got Tim tad scared but 10 points less out of 100 isn't that much so the little Stingray tries to remain calm and tolerate the burning sensation of pain under his mouth.

Still agitated that he got damaged from something so small, Tim rushes towards what's left of the Urchin and eats it whole.

[Urchin killed, 1 system point has been added as a reward.]

[System task completed. 1 additional point has been rewarded.]

[Total system points = 54]

[Purple sea Urchin identified, statistics have been saved in your collection.]

[Effect on hunger, non existent.]

[Effect on health, -10 bars.]

[Effect on sleep, non existent.]

[Effect on stamina, non existent.]

Pissed beyond prepare, Tim can't resist shouting. "You brought me here just to take 20 points of my health!?"

[Speed has been upgraded to level 5 for 1 hour.]

"Wait really?" Tim questioned while trying to remember what level his speed is at. "What level was my speed at before?"

[Level 2]

"Amazing! This is a great cheat!" Tim celebrated while swimming in circles, enjoying the more than doubled natural speed!

[Health -1 bar]

"Oh shit! It's because of the wounds isn't it?" Tim questioned while hurrying towards the red coral reef he calls home.

[Yes]

"I need to find more of those leggy crabs! What were they? The ones that give health?" Tim questioned, swimming through a distance of 30 meters in just 5 seconds.

[Marble shrimp]

Not caring much about the name and remembering that the system won't in any way help locate one, Tim mumbles. "Yes those! I hope there are a few in my den!"

It's interesting how he's willingly seeking Marble shrimp right now, considering that he got a taste of how being super sleepy is like.

He might crash again, his health bar earlier was 17/35 and eating enough of these shrimps to heal 21 bars of health can have a strong effect.

...

Reaching that little hole he calls home, Tim felt astounded and happy that more of these shrimps are dumb enough to come back here even after seeing that a few legs are scattered around here.

But yet the statistics aren't large here, there isn't a big bundle of Marble shrimps just waiting to be eaten.

There are only 4 of them which won't make a massive difference health wise but it's better than nothing.

To make it worse, the system once more states. [Health -1 bar]

Motivated by the attempt to avoid death itself, Tim hollers. "You leggy crabs can't get away from me!" But of course that thundering tone just caused a couple of bubbles.

Reaching the shrimps at the bottom of the hole, Tim bites through the closest one's back and takes along the chunk with him, his level 5 speed not quite easy to slow down.

Swallowing the bite, he turns around and makes for another living shrimp, biting through it like thunder, taking a chunk and killing the species although 60% of the shrimp's body still remains on the sand.

The system of course counted each new point upon a killed shrimp although this is no system task.

After Tim the raging Stingray finally killed all 4, the system declares. [Total system point = 58]

[Wound tamed by the salty sea waters, guest will no longer suffer slowly decreasing health because of recent injury.]

[Health bar = 80/100]

"Pew..." Murmured Tim as he laid fins on the sand, trying to relax a tad bit although not exactly sleepy.

Having the capability to think tad more clearly now with that wound under his mouth healing, regenerating. Tim demands, "Let's upgrade my hunting."

[Purchase confirmed]

And so, Tim started feeling a large sensation of pain on his jaws, around his mouth and a strong headache immediately grew as well as his entire body started aching!

The system was right in terms of orientation, only if Tim remembered that this upgrade actually hurts!

Wanting to shout, but his mouth feeling far to stiff to do that, all Tim can do is circle around for a while to let out such rage.

Half a minute of soul torturing pain later, the system finally utters. [Hunting capabilities upgraded to level 2]

[28 system points consumed]

[30 system points remaining]

"Finally." Tim sighed, laying down on the sand and taking time to let stamina regenerate.

But there is one thing the young boy forgot! Well he is forgetting about a lot of things but at least this upgrade has a bit more rewards.

[3 purchase options unlocked]

[Option number 1 = Upgrade Jaws to level 3]

[Price = 45 system points]

"What a rip off!" Tim complained, obviously not liking these bizarre prices but still demanded to put up with it since survival is a compensation for all this hard work.

[Option number 2 = Endure water pressure for 10 meters more]

[Price = 75 system points]

"What!" Tim shouted, but then got intrigued by the fancy title. "What does it mean?"

[It means you can swim 10 meters deeper without the sea pressure crushing you.]

Tad scared since the sea can actually crush him, Tim feels pressured to ask. "How deep can I swim now?"

[200 meters]

[Option number 3 = Increase personal IQ by 5 points]

[Price = 90 system points]

"This has to be a joke." Well at least he understands what IQ stands for.

Feeling tad offended and wanting to make himself feel better too, Tim asks. "How big is my IQ now? Gotta be over 160..."

[Your personal IQ = 45]

Dumb apparently but smart enough to notice another fact, Tim pitches. "Of course... well wait of course. I'm in a Stingray body so I have a smaller brain!"

...

It was made clear that he can't really buy anything right now and his health is 80/100 so before the urge for sleep overwhelms the little stingray, he went for a hunt through the big coral reef out of his den, to find and chomp on Marble shrimp.

Not wanting to expose himself towards that big shark that wanted to kill him hours ago, he didn't really swim over the corals but slipped and squeezed between various colors of coral.

Finding a decent looking tunnel, not paying attention to his surroundings since this passage can barely even fit him.

And so he feels a little pain on his back, feels kinda pointy but it's hard to determine considering that he can't turn around and see what's there.

And so the system declares. [Health -1 bar]
