"Crap crap crap!" Swiftly whispered the invisible boxer after noticing that he accidentally shot the woman.
Not the best way to impress a lady if one ever dared to wonder.
"So much for looking badass." He thought while dashing towards the red headed woman, with aims to not stay here for a long time.
After noticing that she's on the ground, his heart sunk down to his sock. Strongly fearing that he accidentally killed her.
The boxer didn't even notice her dropping to the ground, because while melting the 9mm pistol, he was giving attention to the knocked out blackmailer instead of Anna.
But to his and her luck, the bullet didn't hit her anywhere life threatening. The damage isn't fatal, the bullet simply hit her right arm.
But even though the shot didn't kill her on the spot, if the pain was strong enough to knock the lady out cold, medical attention is the prime demand.
But how would he explain this situation in a Hospital without being locked in a mental asylum or a government lab?
Although the bullet's force wouldn't be strong enough to shorten her survival percentage, because it exploded due to overwhelming oppressing heat.
The noise it made was still comparable to a properly shot bullet, even almost equal to it.
He understands that people will approach from all sides and with most having phones in their pockets, it won't take long for the copers to arrive.
This situation points out that he won't have time to tie up the wound which is essential if the victim shows chances of survival after the shot.
Preventing the blood from bursting out wild, can make the difference between life and death.
Being left with only one option, the boxer decides to carry the lady in his arms.
To his luck, she isn't heavy either, which was an advantage in this situation I suppose? But it also means that she has less blood to lose.
As soon as he picked her up and took off deeper towards that empty alley, which would be the best choice instead of dashing through a crowd even if he was invisible.
A few mumbles ran behind him, only pointing out that people have already reached the scene where the bullet broke out.
They likely grasp an idea that the blackmailer was shot since he's literally knocked out, they surrounded him in aims to help.
Looking at the blackmailer as an innocent victim.
"Oh my god, he must have been shot."
"Call an ambulance!"
"What's the number?"
"999!"
No, its 112!"
"It doesn't matter. Both work!"
Until someone finally noticed Anna being carried away in mid air. At such a scene, the eye witness didn't know which situation is worse.
A wounded man lying on the alley or a person floating in mid air?
"Holy fuck! Do you see that?" The eyewitness shook his friend's shoulder and pointed towards the floating Anna.
"What the hell!"
Noticing that the men behind him have seen Anna floating, the boxer whispers. "Well damn, I forgot to make her invisible too."
Afterwards, in a blink as if disappearing in the darkness. Anna too disappeared in mid air even though they were passing near a lightbulb.
Those men behind them, noticed that fact well. They saw the light, hard to miss really.
"She disappeared." Yelled the eyewitness as the fear of the unknown scares him a couple of feet away, with his friend following too.
Another man however was simply focused into bringing an ambulance here and a woman near him encourages to do so, by yelling in his ear to call an ambulance while trying to call one as well herself.
Remembering something he saw on tv rather often, one of the eyewitnesses simply turned his attention back to the knocked out man and loudly guides. "Wounds! Check him for wounds, we need to stop the blood from dripping out!"
Seeing this approach reasonable, the other eye witness replies. "Yes wounds, good idea. Help me set him straight on his back."
Upon finishing his words the same eye witness notices the melted gun on the ground, which made this whole situation a whole lot more confusing.
"How would anyone be able to melt a gun here?" He thought while trying the best one can to help the victim.
...
"Wh..where am I?" Asked Anna as she opened her eyes, at a rather different place. Giving a glance at the ceiling, she noticed it in a split second that she isn't in her own apartment.
"Don't worry, you're safe." She heard a thick gentle voice from the left side of the room. Who was apparently patiently awaiting for her to wake up.
Near him is a little table with a good meal on it and a glass of water. Upon first glance, the first thing she was able to notice about him is his oily black hair and his buff shape.
Feeling the sensation of burning pain made her instantly realize how she got here. Remembering the blackmailer getting knocked out and herself shot.
And instead of freaking out and blaming the boxer for everything, which would be a rather common and almost understandable move.
She instead started thanking him. "Thank you for trying to help but you shouldn't have gotten involved. What if he shot you?"
"Oh the biggest danger was I in that bad alley, even towards you." He expresses while rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
"Don't worry about it, it was an accident." Even though she wants to be mad, the fact that the pain in her arm isn't exactly as light as her wound would trigger anger too.
His face shows too much concern for her to be mad.
"Thankfully the accident wasn't too large, it was just a scratch." Expresses the boxer, still trying to figure out how she fainted at such a little wound.
Thinking about that bad night, a thought pops in her head so she doesn't fail to ask. "What about the phone?"
