Aerdrin: The Lost Heir of The Sky

The town's bell rang five times. It's so early in the morning and Zio already woke up from his bed. He fetches his clothes and put them into his bag. During this time, he usually goes straight for the public bath as he prefers to bath with no one but himself in undisturbed tranquility with the freshest morning water. 


Yet, this morning is not his usual. There's someone else that he has to tend to. The copper-colored hair girl sleeps soundly on the mattress below him. He almost feels bad to wake her up, but unfortunately, he has to. 


" Hey, wake up. " Zio shook her body gently and poking her cheek repeatedly. 


" Nnngh... Zio... " Half-awake, she grabbed Zio's arm and hugged it like a doll. 


Zio splashed a glass of water on her face which forced Cecilia to wake up immediately. She is stuttered by the coldness of the water, and went blank because of the surprise. Zio then wipes her face with a cloth, like he was taking care of a smudged baby after a meal.
