I will marry her

(Skylar P.O.V)

“You want to wait?” I asked, shocked.

“If possible, then yes,” he said while looking at me.

“You are marrying me because you have no other choice,” I said with wide eyes when the realization hit me. So he was marrying me for being out of choice.

“No, because I think we are suitable for each other,” He answered while looking at my eyes.

“Now, let’s go before your aunt started assuming that I hurt or killed you,” he said in a taunting tone, holding my hand leading me toward his carriage.

"You will come later, right?" I ask him when we reach my aunt's mansion, and he helped me down the carriage.

"I will, but now we have a bigger problem to face," he said and looked somewhere, and I turn to saw my aunt standing in front of the door, sending daggers at him.

"A...Aunt," I shutter while looking at her with a wide eye.

"I hope you have a good excuse Raychand," she said while looking at him with a death glare. She takes out her gun and points it at him.

"Aunt no," I shouted at her and came in front of him to protect him.

"Stay behind me, Skylar," he said and made me stand behind him to protect me.

"You asshole, you compromise here," she shouted at him, still holding a gun in front of him.

"Put down the gun, aunt! He -" I said but cut off by her.

"Shut up! You are in no position to talk, Skylar," she shouted at me while glaring at me.

"Yes, I did it! But I will marry her," he said, looking straight into his eyes.

"I don't believe you," she shouted at him while still pointing a gun at him.

"You can't do anything else but believe me," he said, looking straight into her eyes, daring her to argue with him.

"Do I have your words that you will marry her?" she asks, putting her gun down.

"Yes, you have my words as much as it costs," he said with a sigh of relief.

"You better do, Raychand, or I will destroy you," she said while glaring at him.

"Trust me, I will," he said with determination.

"I will see you all in the evening," he said to her.

"Take care of yourself," he said, kissing my forehead, and with a curt node towards my aunt, he walks out of my garden. I step inside the mansion with my aunt, and as soon as we enter there, she started checking for any injury.

"I'm fine, aunt Malissa," I said, assuring her.

"What the hell were you thinking, young lady?" she shouted at me.

"You know how dangerous he is, but then also you were gone with him leaving us at the ball to worry about you. Do you know how many times I died worrying about you? Thinking that what if anything happens to you? What will I say to your parents when I face them after my death? Didn't you thought even about your parents before going with her?" she asks, I was about to say something, but she stopped me by showing me her hand.

"Go to your room, and don't come out of there until evening," she ordered me, and I oblige without any protest, knowing it will only fuel her anger.

At 6:00 pm, we were sitting in the living hall waiting for him to arrive. Well, we all except Erika.

"What if he doesn't come?" Erika asks while pacing around the room.

"Yet again, something must've happened, or he just simply forgot," Erika said, still pacing around the room.

"Will you calm down already, Erika? You are wandering around the room for over an hour now," I said, getting irritated by her moving around the room, thinking all the negative things.

"And you two, aunt. You almost have 8 cups of tea since I come back," I added while looking at her.

"Can you blame us? We were worried sick for you," she asks while running her hands on her face.

"Since I'm here trying to calm down. You are acting as I died," I said, closing my eyes to calm myself.

"It's is worse than died; you are compromised," she said with an accusing stare.

"We are lucky that he will marry you," she said while looking at me.

"That if he comes," she said with a sigh, and there is an uncomfortable silence until we heard a knock on the door.

"That must be him," I said while looking at the door.

"Eral Raychand has arrived, madam," Maria said, entering the room.

"Let him in," the aunt said, getting in a straight poster. And as in cue, he walks into the room.

*Why are you so handsome every single time I saw you?* I thought while looking at him.

"You are late, Raychand," my aunt said in a stern voice.

"I'm never late, madam. I am even early," he said with a playful smile.

"Hmm...Skylar, Erika, you two go to the garden," aunt direct us in a stern voice.

"I will stay here," I said, standing my ground. Of course, I will not let him deal with her cruel ways; I know how protective my aunt gets very well for her children.

"This is a matter we have to discuss alone," she said while glaring at me.

"This is a matter of my future. I know I get in trouble later, but I don't care anymore. I have every right to stay," I said, looking straight into her eyes.

"It's better to leave this to me - " Xavier said, but I cut him off.

"Don't start ordering me out, Raychand," I said in a stern voice.

"Go, Skylar," he said calmly, and I storm out of the room, shutting the door loudly while gritting my teeth.
