I walked down the hallway with my group.

I could feel the stares of men behind me.

The lecherous gazes.

'Disgusting creatures. You should know your place, beneath us.' I thought as I opened the door.

I was greeted by rows upon rows of stones with names on them.

'Are these... tombstones?' I thought as I took in the sight.

I moved aside to allow the others in.

I spotted someone in the back.

'Who is that? Could he know something about what's going on?' I wondered before waking over.

As I walked over, I paused.

I started picking up on a lot of small details, most would go unnoticed to a normal person.

His left leg had a long white mark running up the side, a somewhat new scar, either done from a sword or a sharp claw. There were some older, smaller scars on his right leg.

His black pants, while not exactly clean, had been well kept. His white shirt, somewhat discolored from age and use, had barely visible red stains here and there. There were also neatly done stitches in other places.

His black hair was unkempt. But to an observant eye one could see that though his hair was unkempt, there were clean cuts where parts had been cut off at some recent time.

He also had an ominous aura about him. The air seemed to get heavier and colder the closer one was to him.

If one looked closely, although he seemed relaxed, he was already on guard.

'This person... what has he done to feel so terrifying? I've faced plenty of strong people, but this is... It feels like I'm staring at death itself!' I thought as I swallowed nervously.

The person touched the stone block and it changed from having a name in the middle to having a list, of what appeared to be specialties.

Mustering up some courage, I walked forward and said, "Excuse me. Could I ask who you are, and if you know what's going on?"

He turned towards me.

I noticed a black necklace with a black ring on it first. Then I noticed his face.

His left eye had a crimson red iris, and the pupil seemed to be a bottomless abyss. His right eye had a solid emerald green iris, and a dim blueish pupil. A long scar ran from the top of his head, an inch away from going through his right eye, and down to his chin. Another scar went from almost touching his right ear, all way to his nose after touching his eye.

My body screamed for me to run.
