Asseylum
I looked around and spotted that man from before, Zachary.
Mustering up some courage, I walked over. Even though I had done the same as him, and gotten some abilities from the shops, and gotten equipment as well, it was still unnerving to be around him.
"Excuse me, Zachary." I said.
He turned to face me. Again, I had to stop myself from running on the spot.
"My name is Asseylum Alucite. I think we're both smart enough to know what that mysterious portal leads to, and what will happen after going through it." I said.
He remained silent.
"Ahem. I was wondering what you planned on doing after going through?" I asked.
"Kill anything that tries to kill me." He said indifferently.
His response made me shudder inside. Anything? Even other humans?
"I see. I can rest assured then." I said before quickly walking away.
'Just what is this guy? How can a simple conversation be so nerve wracking?' I wondered.
I looked at the basic spiked iron gauntlets I had bought, along with the simple leather armor, simple leather boots, and small herb bag I had on my waist. The gauntlets cost me 10 C, everything else was 5 C.
I had bought the herb gathering skill for 5 G, and spirit summon for 1 E. I also grabbed Appraisal for 1 P since I should be able to get a few other perks through training.
I sighed internally at my condition.
It was a far cry from my previous abilities.
Everyone soon gathered together again.
"Alright, now that everyone is here, we should begin the discussion. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?" Leon said.
No one spoke.
"Perhaps we should take a small group through first, see what's on the other side and then come back?" A girl suggested.
There were some murmurs before a few people agreed.
"Does anyone else have any other ideas?" Leon asked.
