Chapter 70

"What could be the problem this time?" one of the department heads asked the other lady beside her.

"I don't know. Sir Robbie never really asked for an emergency meeting unless, you know, emergency," the woman with ginger hair and eyeglasses answered.

The department heads were mostly women who had been working with JM Cosmetics for years. During the time the rumors had spread about Robbie, some of the oldest members had left and only three stayed including Tonette.

Those three women, Sylvia, Tonette, and Chloe, apparently had the highest positions in the company and were silently observing the other women chatting away like birds. The two men that were included in the meeting, were from the technology department both young and clueless on the entirety of the conversations each of their colleagues made.
