"Where's Mom?" asked the girl to her grandmother. Ever since morning, she had not seen even the shadow of her parents. She wondered what happened and why they were not coming out from their bedroom.
Laura knew the reason why and a small grin formed on her face. She was extremely happy that the two finally had reconciled and perhaps did what she advised them to do, "kiss and make up." She knew from there that they did more than that since she never saw them all morning.
"Don't worry about them, honey," she told her granddaughter. "I'm sure they were just talking and resting."
