Chapter 115 Trustworty or Not (2)

Robbie studied her carefully. He could tell that she was caught off guard by his question that it took her a while again to answer.

It was a direct question to offend her and perhaps would make her angry so she could spill her true intentions. He knew she owed much of her success to Chloe since the woman was the one who had promoted her to become one of the heads. Chloe commended Carina greatly that he too saw how skilled the young woman was. 

But he needed to know her reason for staying. He needed to see how much he could really trust her and why she decided to stay instead of following her senior to the rival company. Also, he needed to know if she was purposely left by Chloe to be a spy in his company and perhaps in his life, too.

Everyone is a suspect now, and even though this woman might have proven her loyalty to him, he still was not sure how much and how long she would do it. 

Carina sighed deeply and confessed.
