Chapter 13 (ABTED)

Larry Quir anxiously paces back and forth inside his mansion's library.

"Did she did it?" He ask himself, He was getting more and more anxious by the second.

Seeing the dark sky covered in black mist.....he was nervous, he didnt knew if he has biten more than he could chew.

[That b!$@ better not rat me out or else! that child will join her in hell!] He thought to himself while trying to calm his nerves down.

A banged from the door made him jolt up from his chair.

"Master! A package from the Viosta dukedom has arrive!" His butler yelled from the outside.

[Package? Why would that beast sent me a package at this time....did he....]

Panic immediately consumed him, he quickly went out of his library and run to his mansion's door.

There he saw his wife at the front door looking at a box wrapped in a bow.

"Husband....." his wife, Mrs.Quir called him. Her hands were shaking and she could hardly speak due to fear.

Larry Quirr swallowed his own saliva few times to hide his nervousness, He stared at the gift for a few seconds before lifting it up.

"What are you scared of? That beast has no evidence! He will not be able to touch us." Larry Quir said trying to calm his wife down.

With the gift in hand they went to the living room and and place the gift at the center table.

Viscount Larry Quir carefully pulled the ribon off and when the ribbon came off, all four sides of the box fell from each side revealing whats inside.

"AHHHHH!!!!" Mrs. Quir screamed in terror while looking at the head of their spy Cynthia.

Viscount Quir stumble and fell to the ground, his heart pounded as he felt his stomach turned from the inside.

"S-she ratted me out! That good for nothing bit@$!" Viscount Larry shouted in anger.

Their butler who was also with them couldn't help but took a few steps back.

"He knows! He's going to come here!!" He shouted.

Because of their scream all the maids and workers working for the viscount has woken up.

They all went to the living area to see why the Viscount and his wife was screaming.

Terror filled their body when they saw a decapitated head on a table.

The maids immediately started screaming and running.

Then a sudden loud bang halted everyone in their position, their attention turned to the door that was suddenly and forcefully closed shut.

"W-what was that?" A maid asked in terror, her heart pounding out of her chest.

The Viscount's butler went to the double large door and tried opening it.

He pulled and pulled but much to his dismay the door wouldn't open.

"Try using your powers!" The Viscount ordered in a panic. His butler used his wind power to try and forced the door opened but still failed.

"You imbecile! Its just a door!" Mrs. Quir yelled at the butler.

"Maam there's something wrong with the door, it just wont open! Its as if....."

Then everyone went quiet. The three person who knew about the crime they comitted looked at each other.

"No....ha-ha! It cant be! You said he wouldn't find out!" Mrs.Quir shouted hysterically.

"Were trapped."

Those two words was enough to sent shiver down everyone's spines.

Just as Viscount Larry said those words, black mist suddenly came through the small opening below the door.

The atmosphere then turned eerie. A feeling of danger that would turn your stomach upside down.

"Black mist! Its him! The beast!" The maid yelled, everyone started panicking and screaming.

"I-I dont want to die!! Help! Please!" Mrs.Quir kneeled and beg through the door.

A strong forced suddenly closed all the windows of the room, leaving no place of escape to all the people inside.

"You beast! You cant do this! You have no evidence! This is against the law!!!" Viscount Quir yelled in the air desperation can be heard in the tone of his voice.

The black mist covered the entire room, circlying around them.

"You dare to harm my daughter...."

They all turn their head at every direction trying to pin point where that voice was coming from.

"Where are you?! Show yourself you beast!" Viscount Quir shouted.

"Don't think you could just walk freely after hurting my little cub."

Leon suddenly appeared infront of them they all stumble and fell from shock, a cold expression and murderous aura can be felt in his presence.

His piercing glare pass through every fiber of Viscount Larry's body.

His heart pounded so fast that he could hardly catch his own breathe, with little courage and alot of pride he has left he screamed

"How? How can a beast like you care so much a stupid child?! A child who isnt even yours!" Viscount shouted provoking Leon even more.

This made Leon even more angrier than before, in just a matter of second the whole mansion was engulf in black flame.

The mist surrounding them blend in with fire intensifing its forced.

"I have nothing to do with this! Please spare me!!" The butler shouted.

"You traitor!!" viscount Larry shouted and he slap his butler in the cheeks making the butler fall to the ground.

Leon ignored their little quarrel, He reached his hands forward and from his hand a black flame came out.

"Save your breathe. I dont have any plans on letting anyone of you live another day...."

Leon's flame got bigger and its heat intensify, one maid tried to run for her life but as soon as she touched the flame her body desinigrated like a ash.

"wh-what? S-she vanished?" Mrs Quir said with shaken voice.

Everyone who saw it fell to the ground and kneeled including the Viscoount's wife with tears on their eyes and their body shaking they begged the Grand Duke to spare their life.

"Your grace! Please! Spare my life!"

"I have a family your grace have mercy!"

"I promise not to work for the Viscount ever again your grace!"

About a hundred people inside that room begged the Grand Duke to spare them and a hundred more people are trapped in the other rooms not knowing what's happening.

Grand Duke Leon is dead set on erradicating every single one of them, completely erasing the Viscount's entire existance.

The only one who isnt kneeling is the Viscount. He clenches hands and gritted his teeth in anger.

"Grand Duke Leon Viosta!! Killing me without proper evidence is against the law! The Emperor will surely punish you for this!" He yelled full of anger and with a mixed of pride and arrogance.

"HAHAHAHAH!"

Everyone went silent when Leon laughed. It was a manacing laugh, a laugh so evil amd vile.

"If you're going to threaten me, make sure that its something worth of me to be threaten about." Leon said firmly.

Leon snapped his fingers and everyone inside the room was set on fire.

They screamed in horror as they drop and roll to the ground trying to put the flame out.

In a matter of no time the room smelled like burned flesh.

But no matter how hard they tried the flame wont die, the black flame continued to burn them alive.

"Forgive me!! Please!!" The Viscount yelled, lowering his pride that he held so dear.

Leon looked at the Viscount with cressed eyebrow as he clenched his fist in anger and as his anger rised the flame mixed with his black mist intensified.

The flame was so strong that it bursted through the ceilling and reached the sky.

"Forgive you? Ask my daughter for forgiveness.....oh that's right she's still unconscious because of you!" Leon slamed the viscount with his hand to the wall in anger and rage, thinking at how Leonna is still laying in bed unconscious.

"I think I've given you enough time to take your last breath."

With that said, Leon turned his back on them, and walked out of the burning mansion.

Outside the Mansion, an army of soldiers led by Jace and Brion was on stand by.

Thousands of soldiers was outside waiting for their master to give them orders.

"Did you made sure that no one escape?" Leon asked.

"Yes your grace, everyone is inside that mansion." Jace answered while looking at the mansion engulfed in black flame.

"Destroy everything that the Viscount owns from his lands to his business and other families, everything. I want it done by tomorrow." Leon ordered.

Jace and Brion bowed in response "yes your grace."

After giving his orders to his army, Leon hop inside his carriage.

Inside the carriage is Winston and a man wearing a black hooded cloak waiting for Leon to come back.

"Is it done?" The man in a hood asked.

"Yes." Leon answered while getting inside the carriage

"That was quite a show." Winston said. Leon just smirked at him.

"Its not for you to watch. Its for those bastards who dare to try and hurt Leonna again, let this be a warning for them."

Leon knew that Viscount Larry is not the only one who wants Leonna dead, thats why he did what he did, to warn those people who dare to try petty tricks again.

"To go through such lenghts just for a child....This child must be so special to you, now I really want to meet her." The man wearing the hooded cloak said.

"Tsk. Not a chance." Leon retorted. The hooded man chuckled as he took his hood off revealing his Identity.

"Why not? Im the Emperor."
