11. Ask her to stay

Both of them started washing. Miles had never done this before and tried to imitate what she was doing. He poured more soap into the dish forming a lot of bubbles and this made Lara giggle.

She chuckled and said," Sir please join boss. I'll do this on my own else within another five minutes this kitchen will be filled with bubbles." This made Liam laugh.

Miles nodded sadly and went and sat next to him. She quickly finished cleaning the dishes and the kitchen.

After this they sat and chatted for a while. After half an hour she went and got him his medicines and gave it to him. He quickly ate them. She then asked him to go and sleep for a while and he reluctantly went.

Only both of them were sitting and were playing in their phones. After a few minutes Miles asked her," Lara can you stay today and look after him. I have got important meetings to attend that is why." She nodded and he left.

While leaving he was thinking about the strange request Liam had made before they ate. He asked him to leave saying that he had meetings to attend and ask her to stay.

This made him shocked and he was about to ask why he was met with a scowl. This made him shut up and agree.' Man he is changing so much', he thought.

At this time, Lara was thinking about the troubled relationship between the mother and son. She wanted to find a way to solve their problem. It was already 2:30 pm and she was dead bored.

So she decided to sleep for sometime. She set an alarm for an hour later and slept on the couch. She was tired so she fell asleep fast. She woke up at 4 pm. She decided to make some healthy snack for both of them.

She went to the kitchen and started working. Liam woke up hearing the noise coming from the kitchen and so went to check. He saw her blending fruits in the blender. He went to the counter and sat.

She looked up and smiled." How are you feeling boss?", she asked. He replied with a smile," Much better. Thank you for taking care of me." " You are welcome", she said.

" What are you making ?", he asked with interest. " Just some healthy evening snack", she replied. After a few minutes she finished cooking.

She had made smoothies for both of them along with mini apple pies. She brought the dishes. Both of them started eating.

" Mmmm …. It tastes amazing. You are really an awesome cook."" Thanks", she said in a happy tone. Who wouldn't like to be complimented after all...

" What do you want for dinner boss?", she asked after they finished eating." I'll just order something for both of us", he said.

Her face creased into a frown and she said," You definitely are out of your mind. You will be the only one who eats hotel food when they are sick. Have you made up your mind that you are goanna keep falling sick? Tell me what you want and I'll make it if I can."

He saw that she was very annoyed and decided to tease her and said," Ravioli". She was a bit surprised at first and then she nodded and said," Sure".

" I want to ask you a personal question? Will you reply honestly?", she asked." Only if I also get to ask a question.", he said with a grin.

" Go on. You can ask first.", she said." Have you ever been in a relationship or are you in one now?", he asked. She was a bit surprised by this question.

" Nope. Not in a relationship and never been in one", she replied.' Hmm.. completely pure', he thought." You can ask yours", he said.

" I am telling this out of experience that you are suffering from depression and loneliness. And that that was your primary reason for falling ill. I think it is assumable that your strained relationship with your mother is the reason.

My friend was someone who suffered from depression and so I had done a lot of research. I found that speaking about it to someone you trust is the best treatment. If you trust me then I am all ears to listen to you.

And I can understand if you do not want to speak about it to me but you should definitely confine to someone you know or trust.", she said with a genuine tone.

He was surprised by the question. But when he started thinking about it he realized that she was right and decided to speak to her." You are right. Can I speak to you now?", he asked.

" Of course", she said and then took her phone and secretly turned the recorder on.
