24. Not even an ant

Before entering they all changed their facial expressions into their trademark aloof look. When the people in the hotel saw Tom carrying a girl they were surprised.

But they couldn't see her face because he had concealed her face on his chest well. There was utter silence.

Only after they left, the people started whispering. It was news. They saw great business prodigies walk in and one of them was carrying a woman. It was too much for their weak hearts you know.

After going in the boys took her to a bedroom and laid her. Both of them sat down in silence looking at her.

She turned while sleeping and faced them. They were getting to have a look at their princess finally.

Tom gently poked her cheek. Her soft skin bounced slightly. Both the brothers couldn't express the happiness they were feeling.

Suddenly their expression became grim. They were looking at something crawl on their princess's hand. It was an ant.

Mike picked the ant up gently so that he doesn't disturb her and threw it away with a look of disgust. Both of them nodded with acknowledgement and had an expression that said,' Not even an ant can touch our baby princess'.

The others who were watching this scene couldn't help but smile. It was so cute seeing the way they were taking care of her.

It was sure that no man would dare to even point their finger towards her when these two are around.

Liam was feeling happy too seeing that she was reunited with her family. Suddenly his phone started buzzing. It was Miles. He went aside to answer the call.

Miles, Emily and Lina were worried both about Liam and Lara. Neither of them had contacted them for almost a day. Finally Liam answered his call.

" Hello bro. What happened?? Are you alright??? Is Lara fine? How are her parents?", he started asking.

" Hi. I am fine. Lara's parents passed away yesterday. Today I was attending the funeral with her. I'll call you back later", he said and cut the call when he heard Sara call him out to join them for tea.

Miles told want Liam told him to Emily." So he flew all the way there suddenly because her parents died. Wow….. It is so damn surprising. She is definitely bringing out the side of Liam we haven't seen." , Miles said with a sigh.

Emily was surprised when she heard this. She felt happy seeing that her son was finally falling in love. She never had any preferences.

As long as it was a good girl she was happy. And now the daughter in law she is about to get is just perfect. She was elated.

Sara called everyone to have some tea, everyone but the brothers came.. The two brothers went and sat where she was sleeping and wouldn't listen to the others.

They said that they would only drink with her. They felt like she would disappear the moment they would leave her alone.

She woke up after sometime. She saw her two brothers sitting down and she said," I am sorry. Did I trouble the two of you?"

" No not at all.", both the brothers said at once. Their smiles were reaching their ears.

The others came in when they heard some noises. Sara went towards and sat beside Lara and asked," How are you feeling dear?"." Better", she replied with a sad smile." Come have some tea", she said. Lara just nodded and followed.

While having tea the others were just looking at her." You must be my mother's best friend and sister in law Sara right?", she asked. This surprised the others." Yes. How did you know?", Sara replied.

" Mom used to always keep telling about you when I was young. She kept telling about the close relationship you guys shared. She had even told me that I had a grandfather and two cousin brothers. But she didn't tell me any details about them. ", she said.

" But finding out that Mr. Banks..", she was immediately interrupted by Mark." Grandpa", he deadpanned." Sorry. I didn't expect that grandpa would actually turn out to be my 'real grandpa'", she said.

This made everybody smile. She felt happy seeing that even though she lost her parents she found the rest of her family.

Her eyes landed on Liam. She wanted to ask him as to how and why he had come, but changed the thought.
