51. Computer hacker??

# Hey guys… Your author here… So in the last chapter, I made a counting mistake….. But now we have officially completed fifty chapters…. This is I milestone that I could accomplish only thanks to all your support….

Matt was confused and shocked when he heard the voice of a guy from the other end.

" Lara?? You are not alone??..", he asked in a surprised tone." No uncle, I am with two friends… They helped me bring her home…", she replied.

" Ohhh…. I thought you finally found a guy…. When am I going to meet my son in law dear???", Matt spoke teasingly.

" Probably some time soon…. I am still looking…. Most of the guys who approach me are shameless sluts who change girlfriend like changing their underwear… I am still waiting for the right guy…", she replied.

" Hmmm… I am really waiting to meet both of your children… I am sure my grand children will most definitely be pretty and handsome, after all both of you look like angels…", Matt replied with a soft smile. The man couldn't wait to hold a mini Lara and mini Maria in his arms.

Lara just giggled." I am still a kid uncle…. How can I handle one??…. Plus, I have got a long life ahead..", she replied.

" Anyways, shall I ask her to stay with me for a while… It should help her clear her mind…", Lara asked.

" Okay… I am completely fine as long as I know she is with you… You will not let anyone lay a finger on her, I am sure..", he replied.

It was indeed true. Once, when they were 10 years old, a few boys from the neighbourhood tried to bully and harass Maria. Lara protected her and even taught the bullies a lesson for their life.

She did not physically teach them but rather used her wits to teach them. She asked them questions of a higher level, one that they were supposed to know and none of them could answer.

The guys had made a fool of themselves in front of everyone. The spectators mocked the guys for nor being able to answer the questions a tiny girl could answer. From that day, no one cares to mess with Lara, Maria or Petra.

" Okay bye uncle…", she said." Bye… Miss you sweetie… Take care…", he replied in a soft tone." Miss you too…", she replied and hung up.

The love and strong bond between the two of them was clear to the two guys who were listening to their conversation.

Lara quickly served the dish into bowls and carried it to the living room. She then went back into the kitchen and returned with a set of cans of soda.

She sat on the couch opposite to the two guys and each of them took a can and opened it. They clinked their cans before taking a sip.

Lara sighed and leaned back on the couch. She closed her eyes thinking back to the activities of the entire day. Today was a complete roller coaster ride.

She didn't know why, but ever since she joined Page industries, her life that was pretty plain had become like a soap-opera drama.

" So you are vicious huh??", Liam asked after a while." Yup… When it comes to my family and friends….", she replied with her eyes closed. It was only silence after that.

Seeing no reaction, Lara opened her eyes to see what was going on. Both Liam and Miles were looking at her with eyes filled with curiosity, asking for more details.

She sighed and replied," I am a computer hacker..". Both of their eyes went wide and jaws dropped.

" I had a lot of free time as a kid after studies, and so I had taken a fancy to hacking… Because I had a pretty good hand at it, I started helping the police and military in solving complicated cases…", she replied.

The two of them were looking at her in awe. How could someone be this talented???

" Wow Lara… An artist, master chef, a top notch manager and a computer hacker???!!!... Is there anything you cannot do??!", Miles exclaimed in amusement.

Lara just chuckled." By the way Mr. Miles, I have a question for you…", she said." Sure, go ahead…. And just call me Miles..", he replied.

" So Miles… Do you have a crush on Maria??", she asked bluntly.
