            Isn't he coming again? Maggie asked for the sixth time in five minutes.

           You are one impatient young lady, Antra commented with her eyes still on the TV and a soft smile on her lips

             He would soon be here, I said as it not even yet the time he said he would be here.

           Ok, she said dejectedly as she went to sit beside Antra and played absentmindedly with her doll.

          You don't have to be sad, he would be here before you know it,Antra consoled

         Ding!!dong!!! We heard the doorbell ring

          I will go get it, I said as I stood up.

             Hey! I said as I opened the door to find James at the other side

            Hy, may I come in? He asked

         Of course,I said as I made way for him

               Daddy!!! Maggie yelled as she ran to hug him

                 How are you pretty? He asked lifting her into his arms.

               I am doing very fine, why did you not come since, I was waiting for you, she asked

             We agreed on 10 0'clock  and the time is 9:55 I believe I am here before time but since it is her royal majesty, I would like to apologise for not coming earlier, he said pulling her cheeks with a soft smile on his lips.

            Daddy!!!she called

         What is it baby? He asked setting her down and sitting beside her.

                 When will we live with you? She asked

           Do you want to live with me?? He asked in return

                     Yes daddy, with mummy too.

                    Alright then let's ask your mummy, he said turning to me with unspoken question in his eyes

                Well, I don't think we should, I replied unsure

            But why mummy, we would see him everyday and we would play all the time, she countered

                We just met him, we shouldn't impose, I replied massaging my temple. I don't want to deal with this right now. I knew a day like this would come but I had no idea it was this soon.

                  But you are not imposing, besides I am not complaining

                    Well, I am complaining, you want her to go with you so you can get a free housemaid and punching bag. Do you think you can come out of nowhere and just take them away because you donated the sperm to birth her? Antra said which is what I have been scared of all along, she is one hell of a bitch when angry.

                 Antra please stop it, you can't just insult him like that, it is normal for him to want to be with his daughter and it is Maggie that wants me there and not him, I said as calmly as I can in this situation

                     Soo are you going to just go with him, when are you going to stop thinking about others Soo much, what would you do when you want to settle down and all the guys don't approach you because they think you are married to this jerk? She asked

                  I haven't thought about that besides I am not saying I am going with him, I defended

                   I know you fariya and I know that it would take less than ten minutes to convince you, you are nice like that but I hope you know what you are doing, she concluded as she went inside but not before giving James a nasty eye

                   What is wrong with aunty Antra, why is Soo angry? Maggie asked innocently

                Nothing baby, why don't you go out and have fun with your dad while I prepare your luggage, I said

                 What do I do with my luggage, she asked perplexed

                  Well what do you think about staying with your dad for the weekend, I asked with a forced smile

              Are you coming along? She asked her eyes bright with hope

               No am not but our can have fun without me right? You are a big girl, I said  as I watched her expression fall

                    Are you sending me away? She asked again this time with tears in her eyes

             I turn to James out of words because I hadn't expected this reaction from her

          No baby, she is not sending you away, you can call her anytime you want and I am going to bring you back on Monday, you are happy with it right, if you don't want to come along, it's fine, he said slowly making sure she understood everything

                    I can call her anytime? She asked

         Yes, we replied simultaneously

             Okay I will go, she said with a smile as she ran to get her shoes

               Why did you do that? James asked confused

             I just wanted you guys to spend time together and get to know each other, I feel as if I am keeping you guys from each other, I said

               Well, thank you for giving us a chance to bond, he said sincerely

            You really shouldn't thank me and I am sorry for Antra's outburst, I apologise knowing fully well that she wouldn't do so herself

             In a way she is right so I really am not taking offense, he said waving it aside.

                     I am ready, Maggie called as she runs into the living room

                    I can see that, I say laughing at her enthusiasm

             Be a good girl and don't give daddy any trouble, alright?

                 Alright, she squealed as she gave me a peck and started dragging her dad out.

               Bye, James managed to say as Maggie dragged him out. I laughed at how cute they are before going into start packing with the intention to talk to antra when she calms down.
