"Can you walk with me to the room?" asked Valerie, looking at Rehan. She wanted to be alone to calm her nerves and mind, which had become a jumbled mess.

"Sure, come here," he replied, giving her a hand.

"Valerie listen to me.'' Leo tried to interrupt but she didn't even spare a glance at him.

Rehan narrowed his eyes at Leo, but then turned his head back and walked ahead with Valerie.

"Are you okay?" asked Adam, looking at Leo, who was standing there like a frozen statue.

"This is not the first time she had avoided you. She will be fine till tomorrow." Adam consoled but Leo wasn't even listening.

His eyes were fixed on the entrance from where Valerie and Rehan had just left. He was sure she responded that time. That's why he kissed her again, but now he was not sure anymore.

Plus the look in Rehan's eyes was making him more anxious. They could not be seen anymore, but still, his eyes were glued there.
