"Why did you tell her the truth, I thought you would try to hide it?" asked Kayasone, once his tears started drying.

"Because she is adult enough to understand, and you deserve to be known. I don't want to repeat my mistake, I want you to give the right to be her father," she replied, wiping her tears.

"I have never thought you would care this much, whatever happens after that." he taunted and she bit her lip.

"I was naive back then Kayasone, I never had the courage or power to accept the truth. And my family was hell-bent on my marriage with Arthur. I have no choice." she replied though she knew this was not enough.
