Where the dream losts

When the voice of Adam sounded from the other side, Valerie was not that surprised; she had deduced that it must be Adam the way ring was going on incessantly, but the words he spoke from the other side, had not only surprised but shocked her.

"Where are you Mia, I am not able to find you and Valerie, and what emergency did you have?" asked Adam from the other side.

Valerie stopped in her tracks once she heard his voice and turned back to see Mia biting her lips and trying to end the call.
