'Hey you...!!! Stop!!' Rahul screamed on top his lungs at the man who was probably the one who took away his bike. The thief started running away turning his backs and disappeared in the darkness within seconds.
'Hmm...Finally happy?' the girl whose presences was unnoticed spoke.
'Yeah!! Very much but I should have caught him,' He replied with a huge smile. 'Come, I will give you a ride,' He added.
The journey of the two Souls who were about to end their lives started and their paths came together uniting them to a different path which is still unknown.
'I should Thank you, because of you I got my favorite bike back,' He said during the drive and his happiness was still in the air.
True though!! In this huge city with millions of population there are actually no chances of finding the things which you lose, it might be materialistic or non- materialistic.
'I am kinda luck for you right?' She praised herself as he let out a smile in agreement.
The night was still on and held back all its realities and youth, waiting for the appropriate time to start the show, as it does every time. It might be any show of love or pleasures or falseness or struggle or abuse.
'Hey, What are you up to?' He gasped as her cold face touched his shoulder. 'Are you fine?' He asked again not getting a reply from her.
He stopped his bike and slowly he could feel her releasing her clutches on his shoulder and within no time she fell down from the bike when it came to rest.
Terrified by the scene he rushed her to the near by hospital.
He paced to and fro out of the OT with a sense of sadness and anxiety within himself which made him forget the main reason for his night out.
The one who wanted to take his life was now struggling for someone unknown's life. Why? All he cared now was about that pretty girl who is struggling for her life inside.
A hour passed,
He was still restless and finally took a quick sigh when doctor called for him.
'No need to worry, she is out of danger,' Doctor said.
'Is she your girlfriend?' He asked as Rahul sat in front of him.
'No doctor, she is just my friend' Rahul said still not sure about his relationship with the stranger girl. 'Is it okay to call a girl as a friend whom you met few hours before,,' he thought.
'Do you know what's the reason behind her suicide attempt?' Doctor asked suspiciously as ground under Rahul's feet shook for once.
'What!!'
'Yeah!! She poisoned herself,' Doctor said going through the reports. 'She is not quite immune to the toxics, good that you brought her here on time so she escaped death and is completely fine, you can take her home but make sure to take good care of her,' Doctor gave him a leave.
With lot many questions he moved out of the cabin and headed towards the ward room where she was shifted. He sat next to her, she looked as if she was in her deep slumber. She carried the same charm on her face but veiled some dark secrets which he was able to read through his heart and wanted to confront her but who was he to her? They were just a mere strangers!!!
But still this poor unconscious soul lying in front of him had a great effect on him. The one who wanted to kill himself ended up saving another life, which seemed quite similar to him.
'Sir, payment and discharge summaries are ready,' a voice disturbed his thoughts. He nodded and was about to go out for the payment but then he realized that he had no money.
'Here it is,' a faint voice was heard.
Yes!! It's her....
'You can take it from my bag, no need to feel bad as I know you don't have money with you right now and moreover it's for me only right!! I can pay off my expenses so please take it,' Nisha said trying to get up from her bed. She looked well by her looks.
Rahul hesitatingly took money from her and paid the bills.
'What made you save me?' Nisha asked sharply as he came back.
'Why you wanted to kill yourself?' He questioned back instead of answering.
'That's not the answer' she wanted to know the reason.
'Same goes with you as well,' He too was adamant.
Sometimes questions are answered back with questions only....but here there was no anger or stubbornness. It was suspicion, care and LOVE or may ne not.
'Silence is not an answer,' Rahul said this time with a hope to get answer from her.
'Its quite a big story,' same annoying reply came from her.
'Please take me out of here,' she requested as he moved out of the room to settle the billing issues.
Late that night,
Same two Souls wandered around the city with no destination to reach where destiny had it's ways and plans.
'Rahul, I am hungry!!' She spoke after a long drive as he was taking her back home to ensure her safety and health.
'Hmm...Actually me too,' He replied searching for a place to fill their growling tummies in the middle of the night.
'Rahul....there...' she screamed in a joy finding a roadside fast food caravan.
'Oh madam chill... remember just few minutes ago you were in the hospital and now you wanna eat this unhealthy food to get back there again??' He was annoyed with her wish to enjoy roadside junk but wasn't he also concerned about the same stranger girl!!
'Please...please...I am very hungry moreover you can see me all fit and fine and you can't go in search of another place at this hour,' she was adamant but was also cute enough which made him not to deny he demand.
'Two Spaghetti....extra spicy,' she ordered as he glared at her saying, 'No spicy food so make it less spicy,' Nisha was little annoyed when he said those words to the caravan owner.
Somewhere she enjoyed his concern and care towards her as she was experiencing all set of new things with him under the one night sky.
'Why are you so concerned?' She asked him cursing herself for wrong choice of words.
'Because you are...' the situation turned more awkward as he stopped not knowing what to say further. Both chose silence, they wanted to figure out about all these chain of unexpected situations which happened with them just in the last few hours.
He saw her taking their order from the owner but headed away from the caravan where a teenage girl was struggling with her little brother and mother in the middle of the haunting night, as well as their lives.
Did Nisha understood their plight?
She handed over the plates to them and the little kids hesitatingly took the food before thanking her.
She went back and ordered 2 more plates but all the time she failed to notice the pair of black eyes which were gazing at her in amazement.
'What?' She asked as he was still busy looking at her.
'Um...Nothing,' He said looking away.
'Can you wait for few more minutes for food as I...' she was cut off by him.
'That's okay..' He smiled at her, he was happy for some reason after ages.
They enjoyed their food with the same unknown feelings evolving in both of their hearts. She paid the bill and moved towards that little family who were being played by the cruel games of destiny and left out in this harsh realities of world.
'Take care,' she said handing them a small bag.
