IX

The date never had a sequel, as we got extra guarded. I'm a pretty chill guy, but seriously, being crowded like this irritates me.

And so, I had devised once again a plan.

At the coming semestral break, I, once again, kidnapped Ali. This time, though, for the whole break. Huh! They would be pissed as hell, but whatever. That's what they get for hindering me from romanticizing my girlfriend. I have to make her inlove with me, as much as I love her. I need to court her, even though she already said it's not needed.

The plan was perfect, Ali didn't know until the last minute, so they also didn't know either. Nainis pa ito dahil pinakealaman ko ang gamit niya para kumuha ng damit. Everything was ready, except for my companion. She laughed afterwards, though, saying I lied and ain't really sane.

I defended myself and countered that I am only like this because she makes me crazy. She laughed at me more and I thought we woke up the house. Fortunately, we're still in the clear.

"You're so greasy!" she teased as we mounted my car.

I glared at her. "Hey! I'm trying to be romantic here!" But I can't really hide my smile.

I am a smooth-talker, I was, until I met Ali and got mesmerized. Okay, that's another greasy line.

"I know. Makes me love you more, but seriously, you're such a greasy boy," she laughed afterwards.

I grinned. "A boy, huh? Want me to show you how manly I am?" A shoulder bag immediately got shoved against my face and her beautiful laugh once again filled the car. I followed her lead and laughed, too. Damn, we probably look like idiots laughing like crazy, maybe even high.

"Manly, huh? Where?" she challenged afterwards, a grin full of mischief on her lips.

Ow, I'm gonna love this.

"Where, huh? You must be pretty blind if you can't see how manly I am," I said while I drove the car towards the side of the road.

I mirrored her grin and looked at her with darkened gaze. Okay, maybe I'm loving this banter more than I should have.

I pulled her towards me, that she let me, by the back of her neck, as I also leaned and kissed her as passionately as I could. It was our first heated kiss, even if it's out of teasing, so I made sure to not include the tongue in our little banter makeout. I want this to be more romantic and magical, than lusty.

My lips molded on hers, even bit her lower lip, before sucking on it, earning a moan from her.

It was perfect. Fiery and passionate. I can't remember kissing a girl like that. The softness of her lips, even the taste of it. Hint of strawberry from the candy she ate awhile ago.

When I felt everything's rushing on my head, both head, I stopped immediately, and breathlessly stared at her.

I still have my grin on, and so was she a few inches away from me, however we both know that the heated makeout affected us both greatly, and so our relationship.

"Still didn't change my mind," she muttered, looking briefly at my slightly swollen lips. I got tempted, and also look down at hers and saw a slight cut, maybe from the bite. Mukhang napalakas ang kagat ko sa gigil.

I grinned and looked back at her eyes before sneaking a quick peck on her lips and sitting properly on my seat. "Well, I'll be glad to be your greasy boy, only yours." She laughed once again, before fixing herself. Her biting of her lips didn't go unnoticed to me. Glad she likes the kiss.

The drive to Zambalez went not so quickly. We got held back when we stopped for breakfast because of Ali. She decided to get a little crazy and shove a takeout cake to my face. I have to find a place to take a wash and change clothes because it was messy.

We were laughing all the way to the place, until Ali suddenly went still.

"Hey, what's the problem?" tanong ko habang pasalit-salit ang tingin sa kalsada at sa kaniya.

She was tense and nervous. Those I can see. For what reason, I don't know.

"Can you go right at the next traffic light?" Without asking, I did it.

She, then, gave me several more directions before I saw anger on her face.

"What's wrong, Hon?" I asked and held her hand.

She looked at me, contemplated a bit, maybe, before seriously saying, "We're being followed."
