Chapter 12 'Jayden!'

It's evening and my mother has decided that she will leave tomorrow afternoon otherwise people will miss her too. I am here for three days now, tomorrow is the fourth day.

Jayden is keeping his distance now happy for him, a little bit for me too because I'm really scared he's right or something that I'm getting nervous about him and now you think okay that's normal cause he's a freakin vampire, but I never get nervous about guys, so yeah this is a little scary.. a little bit.

It is now 10:37 PM and I am tired just to get all the make-up off my face, take a shower and go to bed.

When I did all of that I was ready for bed I've put on my pajamas, I unlocked the bathroom door and who is that on my bed? Jayden!

"What are you doing here, haven't I made it clear to you that I don't want to see you! Unless of course when it is an emergency, but the way you look now it surely doesn't look like that."

"Aurora..." I cut him off.

"Get out, Jayden" And I pointed to the door.

"Let me finish, Aurora ..." He didn't sound like Jayden, you know, an asshole.

"Okay?" And I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry.. I did act like an asshole and I'm very sorry."

"Okay who is this and what have you done with Jayden ?!"

"Was it that clear?"

"Excuse me?"

Jayden changed shape he changed into a tall older man with black short hair and bright green eyes almost luminous it seems.

"Um, who the fuck are you!" I said anxiously.

"I, my lady am the head of the Decision Makers, Conan" He said with much pride.

Well of course Jayden wouldn't apologize to me, I rolled my eyes.

"Okay?" I walked very slowly to the door.

"What are you up to?" Conan said angrily

"Me? Nothing." He frowned.

I ran and I screamed.

"JAYDEN!" Why am I calling him?

"Not so fast my Pura!"

His whatta?

And suddenly I could no longer move, he walked over to me.

"You didn't really think I'd let you go like that, don't you?"

His hand slid through my hair.

"I have been searching for hundreds and hundreds of years for you, do you seriously think I will let you go just like that?"

"I have only been on this planet for nineteen years, so searching for me for hundreds of years seems a bit strange." He rolled his eyes.

"Cocky." He said annoyed.

"JAYDEN HELP!"

"Who the hell are you calling your boyfriend or something?"

¨JAYDEN!? ¨ And the door opened at 1000 kilometers per hour his eyes were pitch black.

"Aurora!?" He said worriedly.

"Jay.." And suddenly I was on the other side of the room I still couldn't move and this time I couldn't speak.

"Touch her again and I'll rip your throat out!" And he grabbed Conan by the throat and nearly threw him through the wall.

"You!" And Jayden took his throat.

"Get out and let her go! understood?"

"I'll be back" Conan said hostile.

"When you'll come back I will make you suffer and wish that I ended you right away!" Growled Jayden.

Conan snapped his fingers and I could talk and move again. Jayden looked back at me.

Conan disappeared, Jayden rushed to me.

"Are you all right?" He looked at me concerned.

"Uhm yes.. Fine thanks for saving me." I stuttered.

"That's what I'm here for." And he gave me a smile.

"What did he do to me? I feel even more tired than I already was." I got up, but I almost fell to the floor, two strong arms wrapped around me and lifted me up.

"I got you" he said softly and reassuringly.

He took me to my bed and put me in it. He tucked me in and wrapped the blankets around me.

"Go to sleep magic takes a lot of energy from people." He got up, but I feel safer when he's with me somehow right now.

"Would you... maybe want to stay with me?"

He turned around.

"Yes." And he lay down next to me.

How much I hated to admit that I feel much safer and comfortable right now, but I did and I was asking myself how that was possible, because I hated the guy so much.

"Good night, Aurora"

And I closed my eyes and fell away from this world.

The next day I woke up with two hands around me.

Oh my shitting god Jayden was laying so close to me ...

"Good morning" And the hands disappeared ..

¨G..G..Good morning ... ¨ Did I stutter? What the hell is wrong with me?

"Do you always stutter in the morning?" He asked, laughing.

¨Uhm, well sometimes?¨

"Did you sleep well?"

"Yes."

"Are you feeling a bit stronger?"

"Yes, I feel a lot better. I'm going to have breakfast."

"Yes, I will go with you." And we both got out of bed

"We walked towards the dining room / canteen, other people or well vampires where there too also, I knew one face only a man from when I was kidnapped I recognized and of course mom and dad.

I walked towards mom and dad. They are almost at the back. Everyone looked at me like they were in an attraction and I was the attraction..

"Hey..." I muttered.

"Jayden, Aurora… is there something?"

"Aurora was attacked by Conan last night." My father's eyes went dark red.

"Aurora ... are you all right!?"

"Yes, if Jayden wasn't there I wouldn't be here now."

"How did he get here?"

"I don't know, but he took the form of Jayden and pretended to be him, but I just knew it wasn't Jayden" Jayden cut me off.

"How did you 'just know' it wasn't me?"

"He was nice and apologized." Jayden rolled his eyes.

"And well then he changed to Conan"

"I'll get him! I told him to stay away from Aurora!"

"Fortunately, Jayden came." My mother muttered.

"I told you that the best thing to do was to keep him, he can protect you as no other, Pearl" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, I'm going to the kitchen, I'm hungry."

I walked into the kitchen and made myself a baked egg.

I went back to the dining room / canteen and sat at the table where my parents were sitting.

"Are you not going to have breakfast?" I asked

"O yeah, never mind ¨

"That was the plan, but we'll do that later when you're not here anymore." My father said.

"I will go to my room so that I can freshen up and I will finish my breakfast there."

"Nonsense Pearl!" My dad said

"Yes dad, I am going, alright mom?"

"Is good honey, we'll see you later" She responded. My mom understands me sometimes better than my dad.

"Fine, see you later."

I went upstairs to my room and ate breakfast at my desk.

When I had finished it, I went in to freshen up in the shower and I went to put on my makeup and spray on a nice perfume.

Hopefully today will be a bit of a normal day.
