Chapter 27 ‘Uncomfortable’

I woke up with two protected arms around me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jayden looking at me dreamy.

"Do you watch me when I sleep?"

"Yes, I hardly ever sleep and besides I have something fascinating to watch." He started to smile.

"Sure, I'll go out of bed." And I got out of bed.

"Nope didn't think so." And he pulled me back and held me in his grip.

"Jayden"

"Yes my dear" He started to tickle me.

"Stop it!" I said while laughing

I got up and sat on top of him.

"Now it is your turn!" I tried to tickle him, but of course he could resist it!

He turned the tables and now he sat on top of me and kissed me.

"Ew" He said.

"What?"

"You really need to freshen up, you stink." I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Asshole."

"I am just kidding, my love." and he kissed me again.

"Now get off of me. I'd like to freshen up from yesterday's hassle."

"All right, I'll wait for you in the cafeteria" He kissed me and let go of me and disappeared through the door.

I took a shower first and let the warm water run over my body and I enjoy the nice rose scent of my conditioner. When I finished enjoying the warm water over my body I dried my body and wrapped a large towel around me and dried my hair. I looked in the mirror and saw that there was a big bruise on my arm. I rubbed on it and it hurt so much on my legs there were also big scratches. How could that not have gone away? I don't think it was created after Jayden gave me his blood. I walked into my room in my towel, because I wasn't expecting anyone, but of course Jayden was in my room.

"Jayden? You were supposed to wait for me in the canteen " And I stood there very uncomfortable with my hands around me so that the towel wouldn't fall off.

"Well.. yeah I was looking for my phone, I have left it in here." He said distracted. And he kept looking at me up and down.

"Then get him and shoo." I said a little uncomfortable.

"Yeah." And he reached for his phone and disappeared through the door. I exhaled with relief.

And again I was shocked by the door that opened

"You're not ashamed, are you?" Jayden walked up to me this time, not so distracted.

"No¨" I said while walking to the back. Gosh Jayden are we doing this again? I hit the bathroom door and Jayden walked up to me. I turned and tried to open the door and lock myself in it, but Jayden pushed the door and closed it and turned me around.

"Oh no?" His eyes turned bright red and by bright red I mean really bright red.

"Jayden, your eyes. I've never seen them like this, they are glowing."

"Yes.. I can't do anything about it. This just happens when I see something that wel turns me on." I became as red as a tomato.

"Calm down, love I won't do anything against your will." He said calm.

"But I can't help this." He continued and before I knew it his lips landed on mine and put his arms around me I tried to keep my towel around me, but Jayden was already holding it up. Jayden picked me up while kissing and put me in the nearest chair and leaned over me while we were still kissing. It felt so good Jayden being so close to me, but I'm not ready to take it one step further. Luckily he realized that and kept kissing me full of pleasure. He pushed me harder and harder against the back of the chair and he leaned more and more against me.

"Uhum.." An uncomfortable voice came from the doorway. Jayden struggled to let go of me, his eyes still bright red.

"Jayden! Don't! Keep a hold of yourself!" It was my father.

"Yes, Vincent nothing happened. I said I was not going to do anything against her will."

"Keep it that way and otherwise you'll have to deal with me!" Jayden his eyes turned red

"Dad..." I said uncomfortably.

"Yes I came here for a reason.. your parents are here apparently you were a little rude to Amelia."

"Who is Amelia?"

"Calm down, my precious no one to worry about." Jayden said calm.

'My precious'? My heart melts.

"I'm going downstairs to handle my parents." His eyes are now his normal color.

"Good." My father said briefly. I kept chasing Jayden with my eyes till he disappeared out the door.

"So… you are fine?" My father asked uncomfortably.

"Yes.. fine"And there was an awkward silence.

"So you and Jayden are official?"

"I don't know we haven't really talked about that"

"Aurora, I hope you know when a human does things.. with a vampire ... it ehm.. can kill a human."

"Dad!"

"I know you should have this conversation with your mother, but I'm just warning you." This was so very much uncomfortable, very uncomfortable.

"I'm .. uhm .. going to change.." I said to get him out of my room.

"Okay honey, but please be careful." and he walked out of my room.

I was looking for some clothes that are decent.

I opted for black pants with a black blazer with creme colored turtleneck. For my make-up, I kept it natural just some concealer to hide my bags under my eyes and mascara and eyeliner and a red lip balm to add color to my lips. My hair has already dried, because it's not that thick. I had brushed it through for a while and beautiful curls appeared. I looked at myself for a moment in a large mirror that hung against the wall. I was still unsure whether it would be nicer to put my hair in a ponytail or let it down. I took my hair and held it in a kind of ponytail with my hands, checking it out.

"Yep, that's going to be a ponytail" I grumbled.

I went to the bathroom to get a rubber band and put my hair in a ponytail. When I had put it in a ponytail I pulled some baby hairs loose so that it didn't look too tight and I liked it better that way. I walked through the door to the stairs. I had no idea where Jayden and his parents were. Not very long later I followed the sound of discussing people and it led me to the conference room. Stood in front of the door to hear what they were talking about.

"Jayden, Aurora is a nice girl, but she's not qualified in royal life." Jayden's mother said.

"You first wanted to have Aurora as the future queen!" Jayden sounded angry.

"Yes, that's true until we ran into Amelia."

"I don't like Amelia, I like Aurora!"

"Jayden.."

"No not Jayden I'm not going to marry someone where my heart doesn't belong! You wanted me to find my soul mate, I finally found someone I love in those hundreds of years and you just disapprove her!"

"Jayden, if she was qualified, we wanted nothing more than to have her as a daughter-in-law, because Aurora is a charming lady, but she knows nothing about royal life."

"I am going to marry her she is my soulmate and if that bothers you that she isn't 'qualified' I will teach her! ¨

"Jayden it is not that easy." But she was cut off by Jayden's father.

"Felice, if Jayden learns Aurora about everything, I think it's fine, but it is not easy to get rid of her if she is approved by the royal council." His father tried to talk her into it.

"All right then, but if she's not approved you should apologize to Amelia and marry her."

"Thank you, father, mother!"

My eyes widened

I gotta do what !?

Immerse myself in the royal life and then I will be approved or rejected! And if I got disapprove, Jayden must marry someone else?
