"Hmm, I wonder what my classes can do, and how can I best abuse this power?" Akira mused. His mind was already racing in order to find the best way to benefit from this hidden power. The classes are as follows
[Progenitor] The beginning, and the creation.
Racial Class
{Unable to harm positive karma creatures. Instead, gain exp equal to 1.5x - 4x (Go up by .1x per level.) what you would get from killing the creature. Can only be used once per creature. Does not apply to bosses.} Level cap: 25
[God] Given the power of the Creator, and His power of creation.
Racial Class
{All creatures with positive karma fighting you are weakened by ?% and all creatures fighting alongside you are buffed by ?%}
{Given 1000 levels for making NPCs. If the NPC dies, the levels are returned.}
{Able to create data crystals that were obtained before using exp.}
{Unable to join a World Tournament.} Level cap: 5 A/N: Too many other fan-fics were using this trope, so I made it like this. Plus, this class needs some drawbacks, right?
"Who cares about the World Tournament? This is so broken!" Akira exclaimed, already excited.
[Ageless Sage]
Job Class
{Given infinite spells.}
{Able to combine spells to make more powerful ones. Comes at the cost of exp and higher mana costs (becomes more efficient with level).}
{Mana pool limit is now infinite.}
{The player gains 1 mana a minute (gains more mana a minute with level). }
[Overtuner]
Job Class
{Able to create data crystals, materials, gold, and items at the cost of exp. However, items and data crystals made can only be equipped by the job wielder and his NPCs (efficiency increases with level).} A/N: Yes, even World Items, and he is able to create any data crystals, even ones he has not found. Unlike the God class.
"Wow, who would've thought this [Progenitor] Class is pretty useless, I guess it saves me from having to hack levels though." To Akira, who could easily give himself levels through hacks, he had no need for the Progenitor class. He moved on to pick his job classes.
The base jobs were these:
[Warrior], [Healer], [Mage], [Assassin], [Tank], and [Gunner]. "Damn, that's boring. Let's unlock all the classes." Akira mumbled, as he selected the hack menu that unlocked all the classes. In the end, he chose these classes: [Chosen one] (lvl cap 5), [Mystic] (lvl cap 10), [Angel of death] (lvl cap 15), [Worship Leader] (lvl cap 10), [Herald of the End] (lvl cap 5), [Saint] (lvl cap 15), [God essence] (lvl cap 10).
The last step before the gameplay, Akira had to pick the world he wanted to join into. Because the game was based on Norse mythology, he could pick from the nine realms.The obvious choice was Helheim, it was the world Ainz Ooal Gown was situated in, and one of the only worlds to have no heteromorphic disadvantage from pvping. Akira selected it, and was instantly transmitted to the world.
Time skip:
__________________________________________________________________________________________________
Akira with his [Progenitor] class, became known as one of the first players to reach level 100, and was quite famous as he was frequently hunted down, being of the heteromorphic class. He was invited to the World Tournament, but he refused. The players all booed him and called him a coward, but Akira didn't mind, however, he was curious about who would win the World Tournament.
Because the World Tournament was such a hyped event, the devs encouraged the players to view it themselves by blocking all streaming while the Tournament was going on, only allowing recordings for later uploading. Akira, who was curious, decided to spectate, he bought a seat and decided to go inside. Just like in the original Overlord, Touch Me won and was awarded the World Champion class.
Exiting the Arena, Akira's screen suddenly blared red and a system warning followed: Warning! You have broken the rule of the [Progenitor] class, and will be punished for it. Your class will be changed to [Scion] and all racial and job classes will be changed accordingly. "WHAT?! That applied to my racial class? NOOO!" Akira screamed, he was angry with the developers for not clarifying the rules of his [Progenitor] class. As he scanned his class, he was confused. Why is the [Scion] class so much more powerful than his [Progenitor] class if it was a punishment? Suddenly, he realized, as his karma was maxed, his power would effectively be cut in half, making him equivalent to a level 75, but since that was too harsh, the devs made the [Scion] equal to level 200. Usually, karma would be locked once you reached either 500 or -500, but since Akira could easily hack his karma, it was a buff rather than a debuff. Akira also managed to earn a title: Lucifer, The Fallen Necrophim.
Some minutes later, after Akira calmed down, he had received a message. It was from Touch Me: Hey Imago-san, do you want to join my guild, Ainz Ooal Gown? We have 41 members, and we would like to thank you for not joining the World Tournament, otherwise I wouldn't be able to win. (A/N I forgot to include this, but Akira's IGN is Imago). Akira typed back: Of course!. This has been what Akira has been waiting for, and he can't wait to finally meet all the guild members.
A/N: Before we start, it seems most people are fine with the time skip, so I'm doing that.
Akira was sitting in the seat Momonga was supposed to sit, however, because Akira helped the guild so much, Momonga was free to focus on his life. Momonga found himself a girlfriend and lived happily, although he was unable to play the game as often, and lost interest in the game. No one else sat at the table, in this version, Akira was truly alone. Akira sighed, took the guild weapon, and made his way to the throne room. He was excited, but at the same time, he felt loneliness at the fact nobody remembered to at least log in on the last day of the game. With all preparations ready, he changed Albedo's settings to: Loves Imago unconditionally. Sitting on the throne, Akira closed his eyes and prepared himself.
There was nothing to indicate that he traveled to the New World, no sound, no flash of light, and absolutely no pain. The only difference was when Akira opened his eyes, there was no menu. "Albedo?" "Yes, Imago-sama, what is it?" Albedo replied. Akira tried his best commanding voice, "Tell all the Floor Guardians to gather. I have something important to tell them. Oh, leave Victim and Gargantua. "Of course! Right away, Imago-sama." Albedo answered quickly, and left.
After all the Floor Guardians had gathered, Akira spoke. "Hello everyone, I have an important announcement, we seem to have transferred to another world different from Helheim." Upon hearing this, the Guardians murmured to each other, after waiting for them to finish, Akira spoke again, "The other thing is, my name is not really Imago, I want you to call me Akira. Drop the sama too." "Understood, but how can we call a supreme being without sama? Akira-sama, please accept our selfish request!" The Guardians replied in unison. "Sigh, ess it's the same as the original, anyways, just to make sure. What kind of person am I to you?" Akira addressed the Guardians. All of the Guardians replied was the same as the original anime, even Shalltear. Akira was slight confused with this, for Shalltear shouldn't have any attachment to him, unlike Ainz. Akira dismissed the Guardians, and went down into the treasury.
Saying hi to Pandora's Actor, Akira entered the treasury. In here, were hundreds, maybe thousands of custom crafted NPCs that he had made with his [Lucifer] Class, which allowed him to make as many NPCs as Akira wanted as long as he PK's someone and sacrifices some EXP. Akira called on the most important ones: Saphira, Esmeralda, and Ruby. These NPCs were all lvl 100, and they were perfect together. Saphira focused on cc, buffs, and debuffs, Esmeralda focused on tanking, and Ruby focused on damage. "Greetings, Imago-sama, how may we serve you today?" The NPCs greeted in unison. "You all should call me by my real name, Akira, and from now on, should you accept, will you be my bodyguards?" "Of course! Akira-sama, it would be out pleasure to sacrifice our lives to you." they answered with vigor. "Ahem, I am glad, could you be ready to follow me in about 15 minutes? We will need to save a village."
Here are Akira's class changes, for those of you who are interested.
[Progenitor] -> [Sion]
[God] -> [Lucifer]
[Angel] -> [Fallen Angel]
[Seraphim] -> [Necrophim]
[Worship Leader] -> [Leader of Depravity]
Akira went outside Nazarick and used [Gate] to teleport himself and the three girls to Carne Village.
Almost immediately, he found Enri, just like in the novel. The knight in front of him was super afraid, and Akira had a hard time not laughing at how pitiful the knight was.
"Boring, [Summon Elemental Demon Prince: Samael]." Samael was a level 70 fighter demon, with higher attack than the average level 70.
"Kill all most of the knights in the village, but leave some alive for me." "As you command."
Akira then dumped an hp potion onto Enri, and ordered Saphira to cast some defensive spells on her.
"Um, thank you very much, can I ask for your name?" Enri asked after getting over her initial fear of Akira.
"You may call me Imago." Akira replied.
"Although I am thankful of you saving me, could you please save my parents?" Enri asked tentatively.
"I will try." Akira replied and swiftly made his way to the center of the village.
"Before I begin negotiations, what are your thoughts about humans?" Akira asked, directing the question to the girls.
"They are inferior beings that do not hail the supreme being, but if you save them, you must have a plan. Akira-sama." All the girls answered the same way.
"You are correct, I do have a plan."
There was nothing they could do. Blood rained from the sky and the scent of charred bodies filled the air.
Every single knight thought of the same thing: It was one of the evil spirits that the 13 Heroes worked so hard to defeat.
Every single knight was sure of it, and they all prayed and begged for a god to appear.
Someone did appear, someone did save them, but ah, he sure wasn't a god.
Akira appeared before them, and everyone immediately prostrated, the villagers, the knights, and Samael. They could all feel the pressure emitted from a Supreme Being.
"I will let you live." his voice rumbled. "And tell your masters I am back." he added.
The knights ran, they ran and they ran. They made their way straight back to the Slane Theocracy with nothing on their minds but to deliver the message.
Seeing this, Gazef thanked Akira. "Thank you very much..."
A: "Call me Imago."
G: "Thank you very much, Imago-dono."
A: "It was nothing, now the Sunlight Scripture is here to hunt you. You can not win, I will defeat them for you."
G: "Is that so? Well, I thank you. Would you like to join the King's army?"
A: "I am afraid I have to refuse."
G: "And if I conscript you?"
A: "I'm sure the King would mourn your remains.."
Hearing this, Gazef's eyes narrowed, but did not pursue the matter further.
Akira and co. silently left to confront the Sunlight Scripture.
It was a slaughter, all the angels disappeared at once, even Principality of Observation. All the casters died, instantly.
Then, one man stopped it all. Just by telling this being to stop.
Nigun, the only remaining member looked in horror at Akira, but remembered his trump card. He laughed hysterically: "YOU FOOL! FALL BEFORE THE MIGHT OF GOD!" he shouted as he summoned Dominion Authority.
Instantly, it was obliterated. Nigun looked, shocked. "IMPOSSIBLE, HOW?"
"You did not have to do that, Esmeralda." Akira asked, completely ignoring Nigun.
"But he would've hurt you! Akira-sama!" Esmeralda replied, agitated.
Nigun begged for his life, offering thing he knew were useless to this Supreme Being, money, authority, fame.
"There is no need, go, and tell your masters I am back." Akira replied, already turning to go back.
"What are you?" Nigun asked, for Akira had a human enough look.
Akira spread his charred, ashy wings(A/N: Necrophim, remember?), made them retract, and left. "I am the last and strongest. The 9th Greed King: Imago."
Nigun was standing in front of the council. Usually, he should be bowing, but considering what he has gone through, the council didn't blame him.
The council has already alerted everybody, the Pontifex Maximus, the Cardinals, and the Black Scripture has been put on standby.
On the Cardinal's side, they were also bewildered.
?: "There never was a 9th Greed King."
?: "But how would he otherwise destroy Dominion Authority?"
?: "It's not impossible, plus, mind control magic could have been used. We have relics that could do that. We should declare war and crush him as soon as possible."
?: "And risk losing everything? Nay, we should wait."
?: "How about employing the Black Scripture, they can use 'that' relic if everything goes wrong."
?: "All in favor, say aye."
In the end, it was a 4 to 2 vote, 4 in favor of using the Black Scripture.
?: "Do we know where he lives? Do we even know what his name is?"
?: "Nigun said his name was Imago, and as for his location.... well, no powerful being can stay hidden for long."
Akira's first move in conquering the New World would be getting to the Eight Greed Kings' castle. No doubt that the Platinum Dragon Lord was already aware of his presence, and getting ready to fight.
For battle, Akira asked for Albedo, Saphira, Esmeralda, Ruby, and Gargantua to fight alongside him.
The other Floor Guardians complained, specifically, Shalltear complained for not being able to go along with Akira. However, Akira said he would teleport back at the first sign of his life being in danger, and the Guardians calmed down.
[Gate]
As Akira had expected, he could not teleport directly into the castle, and instead could only teleport right outside of it.
Akira got right to business, taking advantage of [Ageless Sage] he used the combined power [Fallen Down] and [Grand Catastrophe], and used it. It would cost him more than 60% of his mana pool, but Akira wanted to end the fight as quickly as possible.
The skill detonated, everything in a kilometer radius was utterly destroyed. Yet, the castle was still standing, moreover, the Platinum Dragon Lord came out.
PDL: "Another stupid player, sigh. Wild magic can easily negate your tiered magic."
Akira however, laughed. "You were the one that fell into my trap, no doubt that you had to try your hardest with your strongest wild magic to stop that attack. Thankfully, I can copy it."
The Dragon Lord was astonished at this player's stupidity, did he not know that wild magic couldn't be used with tier magic?
Alas, Akira had a little thing called hacks, this was the most dangerous part. Akira had no idea if his previously coded in [Spell Copier] would actually work.
Thankfully, it worked, and combined with [Ageless Sage]. Now, Akira was easily the strongest being in the world.
"If Super Tier Magic could be called, the eleventh tier, then your "wild magic" boosted my magic up to the 12th Tier! I shall call it: The Ultimate Tier." Akira said, and laughed. The name was so chunni, but he couldn't come up with a better one right now.
Vaison, however, did not believe Akira. "Hmph! Have you gone insane with your own power? Even the Greed Kings couldn't do that!" He said, as he attacked mid-sentence.
Akira used his first 12th tier magic: [Break]. Like Super Tier Spells, Ultimate Tier ones don't have mp cost, instead, they cost exp and have a cooldown. However, Ultimate Tier Spells do not have a startup time.
At first, nothing happened. Then, a crack appeared in Vaison's hide, then another, and another. Eventually, Vaison cracked to pieces, and blood spurted out everywhere.
Surprisingly, he still had some last words to impart, "You will be stopped, even if you stop yourself."
Akira responded lightly. "Yeah, well, I did survive the fall of the Greed Kings. I think I'll survive this."
Inside the castle, there were only a few World Items Akira already had, so Akira took all the consumables, cash items, and gacha items it had and left the castle a molten pile of debris.
