Episode 10

Iwasaki Minako POV::

"Satoshi.. Do you mind going to the supermarket to get some food supply..We're running out." I said.

It was a Saturday and we were outside, I was wearing a short jeans pants and a blue shirt with sneakers. my hair was in a ponytail to  prevent it from going in my face when riding my bike.

"Uhh...Yeah.. But where are you going?" He asked taking the list and money.

"I have a meeting to attend to." I said.

"I see.." he said

"Will you be fine?" I look behind Satoshi to see Kou walking out the door.

"Yeah.." I pick up my bike.

"See you guys later." I walk out the gate pushing my bike with me, closing the door, I hop on  and start to paddle.

I had almost forgot the meeting that Mr.Kabuki was having with his staff. I couldn't afford to miss it or I'll fall back like last time.

I look at the time, 10:01, am a bit late through but its better to be late than never, am sure he'll understand.

I hopped off the bike and chained it on the fence and ran in the building.

I saw the guys in the Cafe lounge I ran over to them.

"Sorry am late." I said.

They look at me as I took a seat.

"No you're just in time for the pairings." Mr.Kabuki said .

"Pairings?"

"Yeah this way two person can work on the same thing and when they come together they share each other ideas. it's a very effective way and the work get finish quicker..."

"Won't that make the work load bigger?" I asked. He look at me as I explain my reason for saying this.

"I mean with the amount of requests that we've been having from the reader."

"Yes...But the staff is already big, so pairing won't be a problem, I already calculated it." He said.

'I guess I can't ague with him now.'

I went quite as Mr.Kabuki continued.....

"Let's see Iwasaki Minako and Igarashi Kanashi."

"Yes." both of us said in sync.

I look at Igarashi.'

"These are a list of books you guys will be working on as a group," he pass the paper to me and some others

I look at the paper with the names of books and dates due.

'Guess am not working on next week book.' I sigh

"Persons with books on the list that's due next week will start working now, others can start working now if you want to...You all are dismiss"

Everyone got up and started working. I walked over to Igarashi who sat there.

"Hey." I said.

"Oh H..hi," He said

I sat next to him, he was avoiding eye contact with me.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Oh..Its just am not use to talking to a girl." He said shyly.

Oh that explains his actions each time we met. I have to do something.

"Well pretend am a guy." I said doing the best imitation of a guy. (Deepens her voice)

"What are you doin—" Igarashi turn to me and cut himself off at the end off his sentence.

"Pfff..." He tried holding in his laughter but failed.

"What... are you....doing?" He ask in between laughs.

"What? am a guy." I said. I had take a piece of my hair and had it under my nose as a moustache.

He laugh.

I look at him, he really looks cute when he laughs. I found myself looking at him.

"what?" He asked after he stop laughing.

"Oh..I was wondering if we can start working now" I said.

"Oh is it because of exams?" he asked.

I nod.

"Okay, What's did he give us to work on?" He asked

"Noone can't  love you more than me-Boy×Boy. Undercover- Bodyguard×Mafia daughter. Am I not good enough for you?-Girl×Girl and Vampire love-Boy×Girl." I said.

"Which one is due the earliest?" he asked.

"The Boy×Boy." I said

"Okay by the topic, It sound like the uke and the seme was having some problems....." He said looking at me.

"What if the Uke was offered something he taught was better than his partner from another guy?.." I said

"His partner (seme) found out and realize what he was doing..." he said

"And he acted by being aggressive, In terms of claiming his(Uke) body and soul over again by having sex...." I said my hand on my chin trying to follow along his plot.

"and his partner (Uke) realize that..." He said

""Noone can't love him more than him."" We said in sync.

We both look at each other.

"Well its not that strong but we can work on it to see if it'll turn out well." I said pulling out a medium size notebook.

"Ye...yeah" he said.

We work on the topic together, and exchange ideas as well as correcting each other, We both was lost in time when I heard my stomach gowled.

"Oh.." I look up at the time, '2:30.'

"I have to go." I said lazily as I pack up my bag.

"Wait here for me." Igarashi

"Oh but i have to get home." I said.

"You won't have enough energy to paddle." He said.

He walk away from me and walk to the counter I watch as he talk to the Chief.

A few minutes later he walk back with two bowls. He place one of them in fount of me.

I inhale the sweet aroma coming from the soup, immediately I knew it was udon*

*Thick wheat flour noodles served hot in a soup or chilled with a dipping sauce of dashi, mirin, and shoyu. It's a somewhat thick noodle that's served with dozens of different toppings including tempura, meat, tofu, seafood or vegetables.*

"Thank you for the food." I pick up the chopsticks then started eating.

I felt my energy coming back to me, the noddle was well cooked also. It felt like I could of eat this forever.

I drank down the soup.

"Fuwah." I rest down the empty bowl.

"Uh?" I look at Igarashi who was watching me and blushing.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh its Nothing." He look away from me.

"O..okay." I said.

Igarashi Kanashi POV:

"Thanks you for the meal, I owe you one.." She said smiling at me.

'So cute,' I thought as I spoke, "I..its nothing." I scratch the back of my head awkwardly.

She then unchained her bike and steady it to hop on.

"Hey Iwasaki...." I said.

She turn facing me."Seeing that we are now friends its okay for you to call me Minako." She said.

My eyes widened, 'friend..'

"Hey is it okay for me to call you Kana?" she asked.

Until now the only person that called me that was my mother. Having it call by a girl is bit embarrassing.

"Ye.Yeah." I stammered

"Great." She smile brightly at me.

My heart skipped a beat and I found myself blushing harder.

"Kana-kun..Are you okay?" She asked leaning her bike and started walking up to me.

"Am fine." I quickly said, "I just wanted to give you this!"

I push a piece of paper in her face, she took it as I spoke,

"Its my email address and phone number, you can contact me if you need any help."

"Oh Thank you." She pushed it in her bag, "Well I'll be going now."

"Bye Kana-kun." she said hopping on her bike

"B.b.ye Minako-chan."I stuttered.

Minako paddle off, leaving me standing their.

I clutch on to my shirt. I probably look stupid in fount of her.

Am not confident in myself when it comes to girls but little by little am getting closer to her. I smile.
