2 years later~~

My black-tipped ears twitched once as I watched the rabbit, my meal. My belly was against the ground rumbling softly but I refused to focused on it. The wild rabbit moved slow...cautious of any creature or any sounds. That means you, you stupid stomach!

I was behind a tree, nearly inches away from my prey before my fox took over and pounced on the small creature as it screamed and kicked for its life. The annoying sound rang in my ears before I pressed my muzzle shut around the creature's neck, easily snapping it. The sound was silent but was clearly audible as I killed the small creature and walked happily home.

I had made a small hole in the ground under a large bush which I had called home ever since I dug it up a while back. It had plenty of space and only two entrances though I've been meaning to make another. I walked through where there was a spacey opening that had only one main essential item, my stuffed dragon, Jojo. I ended up sneaking back to get it a few months ago from Donna. We were able to talk things out about what happened in secret and I actually got to say goodbye to her.

I had pushed the newly brown stuffed animal that used to be a dark green away different area so the precious item wouldn't be bloodied from my meal. It hadn't occurred to me when the last I had eaten until one minute there was a dead rabbit in my paws and in the next, there was only blood, which I happily licked cleaned. After I was done, I plopped down next to my stuffed animal and snuggled around it in a tight ball. I felt a little childish but it was the most human object I've had since I left my old pack and I've had him since I could remember.

I didn't know I fell asleep until I woke up to the sound of a soft crunch that echoed throughout the area around my den. I rose from where I was laying down to get a whiff of the air in the entrance of my den, my nose poking out, and instantly I knew what it was. Wolves. The sound of running paws entered my ears. It was a little too late to move as the sound of paws stalked around the entrance. I swiftly grabbed the stuffed dragon around the back of the neck like a cub and waited. I just needed to wait, to be patient, I couldn't stay here. My tail twitched nervously as I heard them sniffing around a bush that was in front of the den and stiffened.

I counted 12 paws which weren't all that bad because, to be honest, it could've been worse. I heard one of the wolves growl low and they all stopped moving. They were making slow movements toward the bush that hid my den and I had to make a quick decision.

I adjusted my grip on the stuffed animal and got low on the ground before jumping out the bush tackling down one of the wolves who were dead in front of the entrance. They yelped in surprise before I bolted good thing I'm way stronger than any old werefox.

Taking a quick glance behind me I saw the wolves running behind me how was I suppose to get out of this one. My ears tucked down, my paws lifting up dirt and leaves as I sped up. Peering behind me in the victory that the sound of running was slowly fading away.

There was only one wolf behind me. Where the other wolves went was beyond me but I had a feeling they were getting ready to ambush me. I didn't need that but still had to escape from this one at least. I skidded to a stop and turned around facing the wolf behind me actually getting a good look. Their fur was a light creamy color with a black spot over his left eye. I will name him Spot.

I growled low and charged at him, at first he looked surprised but just as I got close enough I jumped watching him run full speed under me. I gittered a little and took a sharp turn to the right before jumping on a tree branch low enough to jump on and kept going until I reached a good height. I was pretty proud of myself all the way up to the point where I realized something was missing. Jojo.

I didn't even know where I had dropped him and I automatically felt like shit. My ears flattened against my head and I huffed a little watching the forest floor for my little dragon. My tail twitching with irritation. I was about to jump down in search of him but I heard one of the wolves howl in irritation. I was about to go and look for him quickly until I saw one pass under me.

He seemed to be pacing, waiting for his comrades. A rustling caught his attention making him pause from his circles. Two wolves walked out from the bushes, one being Spot and another who was dark brown with white paws. the wolves grunted at each other once before separating behind trees. The sound of crackling and realigning bones echoing the surrounding area.

When they came out from the opening, I looked over their features all three of them were pretty built as well as tall though I couldn't get a good look at their faces except for the one who seemed to be the leader, whose skin was a dark coffee tone with a sharp hairline. Honestly as handsome as the dude was the only thing that truly caught my eye was a brown object in one of their hands. They had Jojo.

The guy who I suspected was the brown wolf had matching brown hair who's name is now Dirt was holding Jojo by his tail, making his dangly arms and legs hang over his plump belly. Jojo is a stuffed animal but either way it killed me to see that he was being held in such a way, or was being held by someone who I didn't even know or trust.

"Hey guys, look what I found" Dirt beamed at himself and his stupid accomplishment, "that rouge was holding it like it was her pup"

The leader looked at both of his pack mates and snapped, "Great job guys not only did we lose a rouge on our territory but they happened to make us look like fools "

Spot growled low, "It wasn't my fault I didn't know the damned thing was gonna play chicken with me"

The leader yanked Jojo from Dirt before sniffing at his dirtied soft fabric. Everything seemed to go completely silent. My heart beating louder than anything and to be honest I was scared they could hear it. My form began to go stiff as realization kicked in. this guy was a fucking tracker...

My fox screamed run but I couldn't, I couldn't even move from my spot. I watched as he breathed in the scent that latched onto Jojo. This wasn't good....not at all. But I decided to watch as he did the unthinkable. He wrapped his fingers around my stuffed animal's neck and began to pull slowly.

I was literally screaming on the inside and my sight was flickering to red.

I have to calm down.

I have to calm down.

I have to calm down.

My eyes were shut but my body was stiff but nothing could stop the agonizing sound that broke through the autumn air a silent but audible

RIP...

and that's when I lost it.....
