Running across long plains for several hours, Roylac had finally crossed the border. The first thing he found was a village protected by a small fence. As soon as he approached it, the villagers went on alert.
But Roylac passed by and did not stop running.
The villagers slept that very day without knowing what the dark thing was that ran through the village.
Then, when dawn came again, Roylac decided to stop in one of the towns.
"From what the master said, that girl is in the next town. But what will I do when I find her? I need to think of something; I can't just start a battle with her inside the city."
After thinking some more, Roylac decided to do the sensible thing: wait until Meduz left the city for him to attack.
"So, are you just going to stand there? Give me your ID." One of the scary-looking guards said to Roylac. The guard was holding the handle of his sword, so Roylac rushed over and showed his adventurer's license.
